The creative team currently consists of Vince Russo and Matt Conway. If you've ever wondered what kind of input To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. and Vince Russo have on the shows, this week and next week's shows are the last two from the most recent set of tapings which were described as "unfiltered Russo." Opinions on the shows vary within the company, but either way, it's now clear what a Vince Russo-booked show without Jarrett is like. Another twist in the story which people within the company are following, is the fact that the last two weeks of Russo-booked television without Jarrett both drew 1.3 ratings -- slightly above the company's average. The last time the company drew two 1.3 ratings in a row was during the build up to the Lockdown PPV.
Okay, this could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing. If Vince is having free reign on the shows now to flex his muscle, and the ratings go up, this could be the good news for him and a way to keep his job for sure. The bad thing is, hopefully he has learned his lessons from wCw and does not kill the entire product even though that was not his entire fault IMO.
If this works and Vince has learned from his past, this could be a very good sign for TNA, with or without adding from the other threads, Heyman to the mix. This could also spell more creativity for TNA which the entire roster and fans alike have been asking for when it comes to angles etc. Another question that comes up is will and/or How will Kurt Angle play into this if Vince continues to do well and the ratings continue to show as a result of his efforts.
Also, Is Jarrett really on his way out? If the show continues to do well without him, I think it is a safe bet to say yes on that note. What this does is shows that with Jarrett, the company really was not at its best but without Jarrett, that is a much different story. It also says that with his influence that he might have very well been TNA's problem or at least one of them, hindering the overall product.
You tell me, what do you think this means for TNA and its product in general if the ratings continue to go up and do well under Vince rule without Jarrett to hinder him? Also, do you think that this clearly puts Jarrett in a position to only further be booted from the company seeing that the company has and can do better without him? Time is a factor and yes it has only been two shows, but do you agree that TNA's recent product under Vince and Conway have shown at least a glimer or what TNA can become.

I heard that Jim Cornette or Kevin Nash could be a new head booker. I even heard that TNA might try to get Paul Heyman. I say fire both of the two remaining people in creative, and hire both Jim Cornette and Kevin Nash, and still try to get Heyman interested.

Jarrett and Mantel being out of the way definitely looks for the best, but even then I'm not sure about Russo. Give him some time as the head booker without the influence of Jarrett and such, then if he fails, go beg D'Amore and Raven to come book.
