Foley winning the Legends title. That's two belts for him in the space of 6 month. Neither of which he really needed, but I can see why they'd put the world title on him.
Nash only won the belt a couple of weeks ago. It's not like he'd explored every possibility as Legends champion. I thought that the MEM having all the title could've revitalized the stable and lead to some intresting matches at Bound For Glory where they lost all the belts and it became the end for the faction.

With the Mafia announceing that they are going for the Knockouts title with Traci and maybe the X-Division with Joe, i doubt losing the Legends title is going to affect them much right now. I imagine Jarrett was supposed to be the one to take it but that isnt going to happen for obvious reasons. I'm not surprised or dissapointed that Foley won, especially as he didnt do the damage himself, Lashley did the work and Foley took advantage. I'd expect Nash to win it back within two months so that the Mafia have all five titles going into Bound for Glory and then coming out with none.

This was a little bit of a shocker, and I see 2 possiblities.
1) The only point of this title change was to end the 200th episode spectacular on a high note. Nash may just win in right back, either in the next few weeks on Impact or at the next PPV.
2) They are starting the downfall of the MEM earlier. The Mafia will slowly start to crumble, culminating in AJ over Kurt for the World Title, possibly at the PPV after the next one.
I actually thought Nash winning the title in the first place was pretty bad. Styles wasn't really well established with that title. He had like two defenses, and that was it.
None of Foley's Title wins made a lick of sense. You're trying to build up Foley? REALLY? Make up your damn mind with this guy.
I would say British Invasion winning the IWGP Tag Titles, were pointless, but I looked at it from a different perspective and I though it was a great move.

I was shocked that the Brit's won the titles since they arent even TNA titles. Saying that, the New Japan website still has Team 3D listed as the champions.

Firstly, it's fantastic because it puts these guys in a feud with Team 3D, who'll they hopefully get a rub from but it will be America vs Foreigners feud number 4316. It gives the stable credibility, and it was a way of EY stamping himself as a heel. Also, it's much better to have foreigners holding foreign belts imo, but Doug & Brutus can hold themselves a little lucky that No Limit aren't still around, otherwise they'd be in their position right now. But I can't see anything but good from this perspective.
And btw, I do see that you said it was a good thing. I just felt the need to give reasons why To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. .

Nahs originally winning the title from Styles made perfect sense. AJ had to lose it to move on to bigger and better things and a loss to a guy like Nash wasn't going to kill his credibility. Nash losing it immeadiately is very strange, but I wouldn't be surprised if he won it back in the very near future.
Would have liked to have seen a real reign from Nash, despite him not being a great wrestler. Right now it seems like he's in limbo in the Mafia with every other founding member holding gold.

yeah I have to go with Nash, not only did the belt give him some credibility to hide those average skills he didn't even have a decent run, I hope he gets the belt back this week on iMPACT!
