Opening of iMPACT!

Taz comes out to the ring to kick off iMPACT! With a microphone in hand. He says years ago, he used to wrestle for a company called ECW and during that time he sustained career threatening injuries and prevented him from what he loved to do best and that's perform for the fans. He called 100's of matches for WWE and some of Wrestlemania's greatest matches as a color commentator. He said he knew there was more he could do and he saw TNA..he saw Samoa Joe...he said they had a lot of similarities but Joe showed remorse..where he was unable to do that. He had a talk with Joe..he told him its not about doing what makes people happy..its about what wins titles and makes money. He became the teacher, Joe became the student. He says he & Joe are indebted to Kurt Angle and the prestigious MEM.

Tonight, he says, Joe will add more gold..and that's the TNA X Division title..and he's got a message for Homicide..."beat Joe if you can, survive if he lets you." Samoa Joe's music hits and he comes out to the ring for his match.

*X Division Title Match - Homicide defeated Samoa Joe via DQ.
Joe hit the ref, locked in the Tazmission on Homicide and postmatch, continued to beat down on Homicide as ordered by Taz. Mexican music hit & a new video for Hernandez played as he ran down to the ring to aid his LAX partner. Joe stood in the corner with his arms crossed as Hernandez made his way into the ring. He's lost a noticeable amount of weight & looks great. Taz & Joe walked off as Hernandez checked on Homicide.

The Main Event Mafia come out to the ring. Kurt Angle addresses what went down at Victory Road. He wants to put everyone in the back at ease and no one is getting fired. He is a compassionate guy. He says TNA needs the MEM. And tonight for the fans, he has a present for them all. Nash, Booker & Steiner are all going to put their titles on the line for their entertainment. Jarrett is home, Sting is 1000's of miles away licking his wounds, so only there is Mick Foley to attend to.

Foley comes out to the ring he said that Kurt made him tap out after he said it would never happen. He was ready to go home until he heard Angle was messing with the front office and saying that there would be no TNA without MEM. He admits they all dropped the ball last night and maybe he ran out of gas last night...and that with Kurt as a 13 time Champ, knows what its like on 12 occasions how to have a bad day. Angle says Foley reminds him of an old dog and a dog needs a master...says he could be his master..gives him the name Old Tapper. He says if it wasn't for him & Joe outsmarting him, Foley would still be TNA Champion. Angle says he's the man and could kick Foley's ass right now, but won't do that cause he wants one last thing from him. He pulls out a set of keys, they are the keys to Mick Foley's office. He says they are gonna hang them up high on a pole for a match tonight.

*TNA Legends Title Match - Kevin Nash w/Jenna Morasca defeated Amazing Red.

10 Man Tag Match: Doug Williams, Brutus Magnus, Rob Terry, Kiyoshi & Sheik Abdul Bashir defeated Beer Money, Daniels, AJ Styles & Eric Young when Magnus pinned Styles. Styles went for the Styles Clash while everyone was brawling on the outside, Young tapped Styles on the shoulder & gave him a piledriver allowing Magnus to get the pin. He then posed with the Invasion in the ring.

*TNA Tag Title Match: Scott Steiner & Booker T w/Sharmell def Big Rocco & Sally Boy when Steiner pinned Rocco.

*TNA Knockouts Battle Royal - The Winner receives $50,000 & a spot in the Main Event Mafia Referee: Traci Brooks Participants: ODB, Alyssa Flash, SoJo Bolt, Daffney, Taylor Wilde, Sarita, Awesome Kong, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Angelina Love and Tara..it came down to Kong & Tara ..they were both close to eliminating one another, when Traci Brooks flipped them over the rope to win and began to celebrate. Nash introduced her as the winner and she jumped into his arms.

Best of 3 series: winner of series goes into the main event of Hard Justice. AJ Styles defeated Matt Morgan.

There have been graphics for TNA 200, so I'm guessing its iMPACT's 200th episode

Office Keys On A Pole Match: Mick Foley vs. Kurt Angle

At one point, Angle had the keychain & fell with it, leaving the hook up on the pole, Earl Hebner had to reattach the keys. Foley used the Mandible Claw and knocked Angle out, he went for the keys, but the MEM came down and attacked Foley. They held Foley while Angle belittled him on the microphone. Bobby Lashley's music hit and he came out via the heel tunnel and made his way to the ring. He came in and embraced Angle with a smile on his face. He looked to be aligned with the Mafia but then instead of attacking Foley, he turned around and punched Angle..he went after the Mafia and they made their way out of the ring and up the ramp. Lashley then helped up Foley and posed for the fans as the Mafia looked on with disgust.

Xplosion Taping -

Before the match, there was a large number of US Soldiers who came into the ring to get inducted into the US Military. Nearly all the TNA roster came onto the entrance ramp to show their respect. AJ Styles and BG James then came down the Aisle and shook hands with the soldiers as they took their seats in the crowd.
(Given the cameras were rolling, and the Xplosion graphic was on the video wall, there is a chance this will air on Xplosion.)

1.X-division Title Match - Homicide (c) def Amazing Red
Finish came when Homicide hit the Gringo Killer for the pin. It was a nasty looking Gringo Killer as red appeared to land right on the top of his head upon landing. But he was able to get to the back with the help of some officials.
Crowd were really into this match.

TNA Impact! Episode 200 + Other segments for upcoming shows

The Main Event Mafia came out to start to the show. Angle got on the mic and talked about how last week Bobby Lashley crossed the boss and how it's not good for anyone. He added as the Godfather of the MEM, he has a reputation to uphold. And when that reputation is tarnished, a severe price must be paid. Kurt and Bobby Lashley had an agreement, and for whatever reason, he went back on it. Angle said People do stupid things for no reason at all. But the MEM is not doing business with those kinds of people. He then called out Bobby Lashley, and Bobby came out and headed for the ring.

Bobby got on the mic and said they 'had' an agreement. He talked about how the MEM is the greatest collection of wrestlers in one group, but they're no longer helping the company. And they're just stealing titles from people. He added ''You can't buy me Kurt''.

Kurt said you can't be bought because you're dumb and stupid just like everyone in the audience. He added that the MEM make up over 75% of the TNA payroll. He talked about how they use and abuse their power.
Lashley said you told TNA the show can't survive without you (the MEM). Kurt replied 'they can't.' Lashley then said he's come here to make an offer Kurt can't refuse... and Mick Foley then came out to the ring!

Foley got on the mic and said Lashley's right, we have got an offer you can't refuse. He then thanked Lashley for saving his butt on Impact last week. Foley then asked Kurt to look into one of the television cameras on the ring apron. He said if he tried hard enough, you can probably see the TNA board members. And how those board members are looking into a giant TV and waiting for the ratings to arrive, and isn't that what Kurt said the MEM would deliver! Foley then proposed a tag team match, between himself and Bobby Lashley vs. Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash! But, both the TNA World & Legends titles would be on the line! (So if Lashley pins Kurt, he's the world champion. If Foley pins Nash, he becomes the Legends champion. Or the other way around.)

Kurt Angle agreed to the match, and vowed to Lashley on a silver platter.

So in short, signed for the Main Event is -
Bobby Lashley & Mick Foley vs. World champion Kurt Angle & Legends ChampionKevin Nash.
(If Kurt of Nash are pinned, they lose their respective title to the person who pinned them.)

NOTE - This match will take place at tomorrow nights (22nd) tapings.

1. Hernandez def Samoa Joe w/ Taz
Hernandez made his in ring return to TNA and looked in great shape wearing new tights that were the colours of the Mexican flag. He's no longer in jean shorts, but in tights similar style that Samoa Joe used to wear (but the with Red, White and Green colours on.) It should also be noted, that Hernandez now has his own music and entrance video.

Crowd were really into this and Hernandez was super over!

Finish came when Hernandez reversed a superplex attempt by Joe and hit a top rope splash!

Post match, JB did a quick ringside interview with Hernandez which was not audible to the crowd.

Next up, we got a new stable officially being formed, in the name of World Elite, with the front man being Eric Young!
The group consists of Eric Young, Kiyoshi, Bashir, Brutus Magnus, Rob Terry and Doug Williams.

Young got on the mic and started by saying "Hey everybody look at me, I'm the centre of attention." Isn't this what you wanted me to be. He talked about how Eric has been making people laugh and having a good time. He then said look at this face, who's Laughing now? He spoke about how growing up in Canada, and how he was told about the USA.
(It should be noted at this point, people were chanting we want wrestling, then USA.)

He said he knew this is where he had to be, to make it as a pro wrestler. So that's what he did. He sold everything and moved to the United States. He made it on his own, and he's living his dream.
(Chant of 'Shut the hell up' begins.)

He added, for every good piece of press this country gets, it deserves twice as much bad press. Every country hates the USA. They hate the corrupt government, your dirty politics and are afraid of your people. Look at you people. They call you tyrants, racists, biggots, and I'm hard pressed not to agree. The fault doesn't lye with the country, but with the disgusting people who live in it! Disgusting people like Jeff Jarret and Mick Foley.
(At this point crowd chanted 'Go Home Eric'. Young responded with 'You pay attention to me, I am home.')

You people only cheered me when I made you laugh, and that's not ignorance than tell me what is?
Now, the World Elite are going to start taking back from America and it's people, just like you took from us! No longer am I going to be the dancing laughing Eric you wanted me to be.
From here on in, we're going to be who we want to be. I'm going to who I want to be.
(At this point he took out some hair clippers and began shaving his hair.)

From here on in I call the shots, not Jeff, Mick and certainly not you people. The entertainment stops, and violence begins.

Young then called out Team 3D.
Brother Ray got on the mic on the entrance ramp and said this is America. You can go back to Canada, Britain, Japan and Bashir, I hope we blow the hell out of where you came from!
These people are the reason why your standing in the ring. You're just a bunch of punks with loud mouths. When you hear 'Dvon get the tables' you'll know your in the greatest country in the world, the USA!

This led to...

2.'Tables Match' for IWGP Tag Team Titles
The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams) def Team 3D (c) TITLE CHANGE

There was lots of brawling round the crowd in this match.
Here's what happened in the Finish.

Magnus was delivering punches to Dvon while standing on the second rope. Dvon then powerbombed Magnus through the table. At this point the ref had been knocked down and didn't see it. Eric Young then came in and nailed Dvon with the title belt, and moved Mangus off the table, and Dvon onto it. Young then showed the ref, and the ref called for the bell...
And we have new IWGP Tag Team Champions, in the form of Doug Williams & Brutus Magnus, The British Invasion!

3. ODB, Awesome Kong & Tara def The Beautiful People
ODB got the pin on Angelina, following Cody Deaner kissing Angelina.
During the match, Kong and Tara began fighting with each other, and ended fighting to the back. Meaning for the end of the match, it ODB vs. Angleina Love, Velvey Sky and Madison Raine.

Another note from this match is the Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were in the crowd holding signs. Alex Had a sign that said 'Conspiracy Victims', and Sabin held a sign saying 'We Still Work Here!'
They never got involved in the match, but did distract a large number the crowd from watching the action in the ring. On TV, they will appear on left side of the Hard Camera in the bleachers.

4. 2nd match in best of 3 series - AJ Styles vs. Matt Morgan
Finish came when AJ went for the springboard 450 that got him the win in the first match. Morgan was able to move out the way. AJ then went for another move that ended with Morgan sending him throat first into the top rope, and then hit the Hellivator for the pin.

Winner : Matt Morgan.
Best Of 3 Series is now tied 1-1. (The final match to be taped tomorrow night.)

NOTE - The next two matches will more than likely air on the Go-Home show for Hard Justice. This is because I noticed that the graphic on the video wall said 'Hard Justice - This Sunday Live On PPV' during these two matches.

5. World Elite (Eric Young & Bashir) def Jessie Neil & Rhino
World Elite have huge amount of heat. Only a few people in the crowd were cheering Young/Bashir. Everyone else was passionately against them.

Finish came when Jessie had been worked on by both Bashir and Young for a long time. The opportunity came to get the tag, but he carried on wrestling. In the end, Eric Young (now sporting a new shaved hair cut and new light brown trunks with the World Elite logo on,) got the roll up and held the tights of Neil for the pin.

Post match, Rhino was very angry, slapped Jessie Neil in the face, and the hit the Gore on him!

6. No DQ Match - Scott Steiner w/ Booker T vs. Brother Ray w/ Dvon
Prior to the match we got a promo from Steiner basically saying their walking into Hard Justice as champions, and they'll still be champions following that PPV. Brother Ray responded by saying how much Team 3D respect them... then mocked them, and match began.
This basically giving a large indication that the TNA Tag Title Match at the PPV will be Scott Steiner & Booker T (c) vs. Team 3D

In the match, both Booker and Dvon got involved. Brother Ray put on Steiners chainmail at one point and mocked Steiner.
Finish came when the new (although, by the time this airs, it would be a few week old by then,) IWGP Tag champs The British Invasion coming out to ringside with Rob Terry to distract 3D. Following the distraction, Brother Ray was put through a table and pinned by Steiner.

NOTE - One thing I would like to point out, is that Rob Terry was carrying the 'Feast Or Fired Briefcase' of Hernandez, which hasn't been on tv the last few week. Perhaps a sign, it'll come into to play soon in one way or another.

Now we're back to pre-Go Home show, according to the video wall.
(So either Impact 200, or the week after.)

7. Sarita & Taylor Wilde def Traci & Alissa Flash.
Sarita got the pin on Flash with a roll up. Post match, Traci and Flash beat down the Wilde and Sarita. Just to say, there was no indication that Flash is now in the MEM. It just came across as two heels doing a beat down.

8. Sting def IWGP Tag Team Champion Brutus Magnus.
Prior to the match, Slick Johnson made Rob Terry and Doug Williams go to the back.
Finish came when Magnus tapped to the Scorpion Death Lock.

The crowd were super over into Sting in this match. The reception he got was incredible.

Post match, the other members of World Elite came out and started to beat down Sting.
This led to Bobby Lashley and Mick Foley coming to help out Sting. This led to the MEM coming down meaning it was a 11 on 3 beat down.
This is when Hernandez came out to make the save with a chain in hand waving it around. All the heels left the ring and the show closed with Hernandez, Sting, Foley and Lashley standing tall, and heels walking up the ramp.

Crowd were really into this. Hernandez is coming across like a really big deal, and the crowd really like him being involved in this.
[This segment will more than likely end one of the upcoming episodes of Impact. My guess would be on the show to air August 13th. But I could be wrong.]

And that was the end of the tapings.

Coming up at tomorrow nights tapings is the
'Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash vs. Bobby Lashley & Mick Foley' tag match with both the world title and Legends title on the line.
And,
The final match in the best of 3 series between AJ Styles and Matt Morgan to determine who goes to the main event of Hard Justice as the 3rd man in the 3 way match.

As it stands, that was all that was revealed.

So as long as Lashley is being pushed as an equal and not a superior, as it seems from these tapings, then I'm all for it. Also, Hernandez at Main Event Level is epic. I hope he gets his briefcase back and we see a sudden World Title win, that'd be great. Homicide beating Samoa Joe is good. These tapings look overbooked though hopefully they come out better on tv when they're not scrambled all over the place. Oh, one more thing, Eric Young as a mega over Heel is totally ftW.

Wow, Young as the front man of a stable, I may actually pay more attention to that than the overdone long running MEM angle that is now boring me to tears week in, week out. Could be pretty good, they already have a pair of titles, granted not TNA titles, but still titles to add to the stable.

I suspect that TNA are currently using the IWGP Titles since they have such depth in their Tag Division, but where they don't have to commit either. Kind too many titles though. People complain about WWE, but sheeesh TNA is an overdo! 7 people holding titles on one show.

I wasn't aware that TNA had depth to their tag division. I always though that was bullshit made up by TNA, considering they never have any other TNA tag titles matches that don't involved LAX, Beer Money or Team 3D.

Hernandez at main event level and pinning Samoa Joe is very stupid and shows how TNA is quickly ruining a great figure in Samoa Joe. I do like The British Invasion winning the IWGP titles from Team 3D. They should defend it in Japan with honor. Sabin and Shelley still continue to entertain, yet lack the TV time. MEM needs to quit adding in random people who don't main event.

Shows how much attention I was paying. Didn't know the British Invasion won the IWGP tag belts. Surely it'd make sense to change them on PPV, maybe even in that title match they had.

I'd piss myself if TNA changed them without permission first.

This whole Word Elite thing interests me. Seems like it could be good & if done right could end up with a very huge push for Eric. Also it seems Hernadez is getting a really big push now which is really good for him. deserves it.

Overall the 2nd show looks really overbooked. Especially the ending. but looks decent enough.
