This feels weird, I never enter the TNA forums, let alone make a topic. I was reading the live thread and noticed that people were saying the lack of crowd reaction and emotion was kind of a letdown and overall made the show lackluster. I saw it was in Orlando, which is where TNA usually has their shows. Do you think that is the problem? Having the show in one place all the time, maybe it nulls the fans of having a reaction of a fan that doesn't get to see the product every time TNA puts on a show? I just think they would get better reaction if they had it in different places, so they get fans in there that haven't seen much live shows of TNA. I know they do go abroad every once in awhile, but not enough. Again, I'm a total TNA nub, so I won't feel bad if someone says I have no idea what I'm talking about, haha.

I don't mind the idea of them keeping tapings in Orlando. It puts less stress on a company still needing to evolve. The house shows work because they scale many parts of the US, Canada, and now Europe and somewhat puts on just pure wrestling.
Their PPV that hit the majors cities just need to be better.

They definitely shouldn't have PPVs in the iMPACT zone. The tapings are fine but yeah, I definitely think that is partially why the crowd was dead along with a poor PPV.

I haven't seen the show yet, but by all accounts the matches were poor as well. A poor crowd can highlight how bad some matches are, but at the same time a good match will overcome a poor crowd.
Staying in the same place for PPVs shows a lack of ambition. Although TNA never learn from their mistakes either. They're more likely to focus on the two people who cheered instead of the 2,000 (paid) that didn't react.

They definitely shouldn't have ANY PPVs in the Impact Zone, I agree with Ken on that one. I couldn't believe it when I saw where the PPV was. I assumed they had moved on from still holding PPVs there....
They should definitely travel around more, because fans are always into the show if they don't get the chance to see the product live often.
But yeah it was an extremely dull PPV. Can't blame the fans for not reacting.

They do the majority of their PPV's their and usually do about 3 per year. While it saves them money, it also limits how much money they can make since Universal won't let TNA charge for entrance to the TNA Impact Zone (since those people already paid to get into Universal Studios). That is why they do their biggest PPV (Bound for Glory) elsewhere so they can charge for tickets.

They had planned on holding 9 of the 12 outside Orlando but that was before this whole recession thing. It's cheaper to do it in Orlando as they dont have to fly everyone to another part of the country when a lot of the main talent live in or around Orlando, and then fly them back to Orlando afterwards for iMPACT!

the arena TNA uses in so small!! they should definetly go to big areans like the wwe not a little shed like teh impact zone. that is why tna is the worst wrestling promoatin ever
I think the problem is since they have the show at the impact zone in Orlando week after week, people know its just a place to pass the time. The show is free to get into, sure most are fans, but I'm also sure a good few are their to just sit and pass the time, it is free after all. Only solution would be to charge something to watch, i would say. Too soon for touring around places, unless their house shows are doing great, then go for it, but as far as I am aware i haven't heard many doing well.
