JB came out and did his shtick about backstage passes for the loudest fans as the show got started.
* X-Division Triple Threat Match
Chris Sabin VS "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal VS Suicide
Lethal came out in gear like when Macho Man first came to WWE with the robe and headband. The finishing sequence was Suicide hit the Suicide Solution on Sabin but Lethal broke it up and tossed Suicide out of the ring and made his way to the corner for the elbow drop but Suicide springboard dropkicked him off the top from one of the near corners to knock Lethal to the floor. Suicide looked for the Solution again but Sabin slipped out and hit an enzugiri followed by the Cradle Shock in about an 8-minute match that did showcase the X-Division Style.
* Rhaka Khan VS Daffney
I dreaded this when Khan came out but she looked more passable than last time she was on TV and Daffney got a nice face pop. Rhaka used lots of kicks and big boots for the majority of the match to keep control. Daffney pinned Khan after a botched Northern Lights Suplex but Khan didn't go over and got drove forehead first to the mat. JB, Earl Hebner and a couple of other nearby personnel checked on her and helped her out. Match was around 6 minutes.
JB said he received a text that said that the losers in Johnson City were about to witness a real athlete from Scott Steiner to get some heat.
* Matt Morgan VS Kip James
Kip was surprisingly over with the loudest pop so far as Morgan was mercilessly booed. Morgan is great as a heel as he worked over the crowd extensively after every move he did to Kip and showing some good personality. Kip made the comeback and went for the Fameasser but Morgan hit the opposite ropes at the same time and nailed the Carbon Footprint for the win in about 7 minutes.
* TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
Scotty Steiner & Booker T VS BEER MONEY~! Inc.
Booker and Scotty got cheap heat by calling the crowd a bunch of fatasses asking if we've heard of Fatasses Anonymous and saying after they won tonight they'd buy everyone a doughnut and Booker talked about how Houston was a much better place. Beer Money Inc. came out to a good pop with Storm asking Booker if Houston is so great why'd the Oilers leave and come to Tennessee. Beer Money popped he crowd by pointing to one side of the building for everyone to say BEER! and the other MONEY! and they did that a couple times before Roode asked about the middle crowd with Storm replying that he knows there's one other thing besides beer and money and that was...BIG OL' BOOTY! Beer Money retained after Storm Beer Misted Steiner and they hit him with the DWI for the pin at around 14 minutes.
* Madison Rayne VS Taylor Wilde
Wilde won when Rayne tried to pick her up but she dropped behind and did a bridging O'Connor Roll at around 7 minutes. Great spot as Rayne had Wilde in a headscissors and rolled over on her knees as she banged Wilde's face into the mat via thrusting.
* TNA Legends Championship Match
Samoa Joe VS AJ Styles
The match only lasted around 9 minutes but after the opening minute they kept a good strong pace to the finish. Joe had Styles set up in the corner for the Muscle Buster but AJ fought out and hit the springboard inverted DDT off the turnbuckle for a 2 count. AJ then went for the Styles Clash but Joe backdropped out of it but AJ rolled through back into the Clash but Joe got a leg free and kicked AJ in the head to break free. Joe charged right into the Pele kick for the win!
Afterwards Joe left and AJ got the mic and said that they would bring the backstage to the fans as Robert Roode, Jay Lethal, Chris Sabin & BG James!!! came out and made their way around the rails to sign and take pictures with the fans while anyone that wanted to pay $20 could get in the ring a take a picture with AJ. Show was about 2 hours long with intermission.
Rhaka Khan cant even take a suplex right To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
Sabin actually winning a match however is very FtW. If only he could do it on TV now.
