Over the course of the feud with Beer Money Inc over the TNA World Tag Team Championships, Team 3D would constantly revert to the respect issue and the fact that the young up and comers in Beer Money Inc were not showing the respect that Team 3D felt they had earned over the years. Beer Money Inc went on to win that feud and leave as the Tag Team Champions. Team 3D went on to feud with two other up and comers in the tag division in the form of Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams. The feud once again is built around the lack of respect being shown to Team 3D by the less achomplished tag teams.
This is where it gets intresting, with the Main Event Mafia wanting the respect of the young guys, and now Team 3D are also wanting the same respect, what's to stop Team 3D from turning around and saying that the Mafia were right all along? With very few excpetions (AJ Styles etc) the younger guys have no respect for the veterans who paved the way for them. Obviouslly they would not join the Mafia as they are now more focused on power than respect but to have 3D accept that the Mafia were right all along would give them massive heat as it would look like they are turning there backs on the youth of TNA for their own ego to get a boost instead.
With the exception of Kiyoshi and Bashir, Team 3D will have feuded properly with all the established heel tag teams in TNA. Turning them heel would open up a fresh feud with Beer Money Inc who look more and more like babyfaces each week, aswell as returning to the long standing feud with LAX and a new feud with Lethal Consequences who would benefit greatly from beating Team 3D clean and proving them wrong at the end of a several month battle between the two teams. 3D have spent the past few years putting over other teams, Lethal Consequences are a team that need that and would benefit from it. Team 3D turning there backs on the youth of TNA would give Lethal Consequences a reason to go to war against 3D aswell as give the fans another reason to get behind them.
Thoughts?

No, keep them face. I really don't see a face tag team on their division right now. Lethal Consequences are tweening, as are Beer Money (think they've gone face). Team 3D are the perfect team to keep face and feud with these guys like The British Invasion and possibly MCMG's. It's a passign of the torch situation. A bunch of legendary guys facing the future of tag teaming.

After the feud with the Brit's Team 3D wont have anyone left to face, excluding Bashir and Kiyoshi who only occasionally team together. 3D put over the Machine Guns last year, Beer Money a few months ago and now the Brit's. That's all the established heel teams. Whereas with the babyfaces they can feud with Lethal Consequences who have never moved away from being babyfaces for more than a few minutes, L.A.X. whom they have a long history with but were usually the babyfaces and the babyface Beer Money for a twist on another long running feud. Unless new teams debut, I see a lot more fresh options for them as Heels than as faces at this point.

I actually don't see how they're going to program LAX when Hernandez returns. Homicide just established himself with the X Division Title win. Are you saying just have the Team 3D/Beer Money feud continue, but with the roles of heels/faces switch? Because I think the heel run of Team 3D could only work for that program, kind of like what happened with 3D/Steiners in 2007.
I say this because I didn't like their first heel run in TNA starting from mind 2007 to the end of last year. Believe me, they've always been a great heel tag team. But I think TNA just ruined what they could have done asa heel team. They lost to poorly established teams, put in forgettable feuds, thought more of as a joke in the eyes of some of the fans. Luckily, they gained the respect right back when they turned face recently and won another championship. Not to mention, somewhat show tag team wrestling is still alive.

I'd have them lose the feud to the Brit's but come out looking strong.
Ray then cuts a promo about how the Mafia was right all along and nobody shows them the respect that they have earned over the years. They are sick and tired of asking so are now going to take it.
They start off with a mini feud with two babyfaces who were never going to win, Red and Holliday for example. 3D dominate them and proceed to beat them up after the match, Beer Money make the save (Since Red and Holliday are technically TNA Originals) and proceed to call out 3D for their selfish attitude. An even feud see's Beer Money win the final match to retain (Or regain) the titles.
A four way tag team match to determin the number one contenders see it come down to 3D and LAX which ends in a double pin. 3D cut a promo saying LAX should step aside and let the legends that are 3D have the title match at the PPV. LAX obviouslly disagree. 3D win the next match by countout before LAX win the return by DQ. At one and a half a piece LAX win the blowoff to make them the number one contenders while BMI have been feuding with the Brits.
LAX get the title match against BMI while 3D again complain about being disrespected. 3D demand one of the young teams come to the ring and explain why they constantly refuse to treat them as legends. Cue Lethal and Creed. Lethal explains that Ray turning his back on the youth of TNA to boost his own ego has undone any respect that they fell they have earned. 3D get pissed and take a cheap shot. 3D cheat to win the first match between the teams. 3D win the second by again cheating just as Lethal was about to get the win. 3D brag about beating L.C. twice in a row. L.C. are sick of the cheating and decide they need to settle it without the restrictive rules, a tables match. Lethal Consequences beating 3D in a tables match to end the feud would show Ray and Devon the error of their ways and give their ego a massive bring down. 3D realise that they were at fault for being more concerned about their legacy than about helping the business like they should have been (Even though they have been all along).
Back to babyfaces who are trying to help the tag division instead of trying to help themselves.

TBH, I couldn't care less if they turned face. Team 3D haven't been interesting to me in a few years. They do the same storylines all the time and neither are in good shape (Ray was never in good shape, but Devon has gotten noticeably fatter).

They cut the same promos & wrestle the same style weather they're face or heel, so it doesn't make any difference. They're like Triple H in that respect.
