TNA has officially signed Japanese and Mexican women's wrestler Ayako Hamada to a contract. The deal became official three months after Hamada held a press conference in Japan to announce she was leaving for TNA.
TNA announcer Jeremy Borash confirmed the deal on Twitter. He said she is expected to arrive in the U.S. this week
"After months of rumors, I can finally confirm Japanese female star Ayako Hamada has signed with TNA. Hearing she arrives in the U.S. this wk," Borash said.

It's nice for someone of her caliber to work of rTNA. Really brings back the international feel of TNA and it should produce in some epic matches with Kong and Wilde.

I haven't watched those videos, but the fact she has worked with Kong before bodes well. Plus the more oriental girls the better in my opinion. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

It'd be more intresting if the Knockout Division was living up to the promise it showed 18 months ago.
Do you think this has anything to do with Gail Kim's departure?
Also, Lariato answered the question I was going to ask: Is she related to Gran Hamada in any way? If she's anything like her father, then I look forward to seeing her in the ring. However, I can't even begin to tell you how underwhelmed I was with Sarah Stock's/Sarita's TNA debut. So, hopefully, she's nothing like that.
