Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

It worked for Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed, right?

I'm going to have to go with Booker T, presuming that the current pattern that it works for black people continues.

Re: Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

King Booker, that could work.

I miss the days when wrestlers had day jobs. Aligator hunters, undertakers, tax men.

I'd make Matt Morgan into a Cash & Carry worker. After a match he'd say ''There's 15% VAT on top of that'' and he'd beat them up more.

Re: Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

Meh, Booker has pretty much been re-packaged into the main event mafia. I'd would say someone like Matt Morgan who might needs to refresh for his upcoming push. But, repackaging hasn't always worked. Looked at what Abyss and Samoa Joe have become. It's pitiful.

I just remembered that Booker had an African accent for a while. Think it's gone now. Can't be sure...

Matt Morgan should get a new haircut.

I think they should repackage Abyss to be Abyss and not....whatever he is now.

Re: Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

The original Abyss gimmick was pretty wacky.

Problem with this thread is that most people have "colourful" gimmicks as it is.

Re: Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

Abyss' original gimmick wasn't whack because it fitted his charisma and stature. Now, it just makes him look extremely weak. I don't see him gaining any championships with it, even though he only got gold twice before this. But, Abyss after the Judas Mesias series just got bad. Period.

Well, I don't know if you could say charisma.

They should give Amazing Red something. I'm not sure what yet, but I'll get to thinking... and designing potential costumes.

''Righteous'' Robbie Roode. There's nothing more hateful in wrestling that a religious guy. I'll also be in keeping with the WWE policy TNA have in place. If it worked for Brother Love, it can work for Robert Roode.

Re: Who could use a wacky TNA repackaging?

I think a good idea would be to take Matt Morgan off tv a bit, let him grow his beard a little, and then comeback as their version of Sid Vicious.

Red should be pushed as their "Rey Misterio" type persona. He can do all the high flying, and with the six sided ring (which I feel is dated and adds nothing to their in-ring product) he maybe have a better application of his high flying talent.
