Once again you do an absolutly brilliant job of backing up your points. Well done.
Foley and Angle have never faced in singles in TNA as far as i can remember. Nash hasent been in better shape in over ten years, and if anyone can get a good match out of him, its Styles. Steiner is best when he doesnt have to carry a big load, a tag match with Booker will have Booker carrying most of the load. The only match thus far i'm not intrested in is Morasca vs Sharmell as it could have been done on iMPACT! instead.

I wouldn't have thought I had to back up two of them. I mean, look at it. Nash vs AJ will be pretty awful. They hardly ever even give AJ a chance to have a good match anymore.
The Knockouts match... yeah. I don't need to explain what's bad about that. Look at it.
Angle and Foley may have never faced in TNA but it will still be a bad match considering neither man is really capable of producing anything decent anymore, especially Foley.
Re: Victory Road - July 19th 2009 - Orlando, Florida
Angle vs. Foley looks intresting at the very least. But I don't think Foley's fat ass should really be doing many singles matches.
The rest of the card looks exactly like every other TNA PPV. There will be some good, some bad and it'll all be forgotten ten minutes after the show has finished.
Re: Victory Road - July 19th 2009 - Orlando, Florida
Tommy, I will agree that Foley can't put on a decent match anymore (I really wish he didn't turn himself into a hypocrite by coming out of retirement, something he has said he hates seeing other wrestlers do), but Angle can still put on a good match.
Styles/Nash won't be great, but it could be decent.
Tag match will be good if it is Beer Money vs. MEM. Team 3D are not that good, they never were but they have gotten worse (and fatter).
I think everyone knows Sharmell/Morasca will be terrible at best. Neither know how to wrestler and it will be a crap match.

I just dont think from a wrestling stand point this card does anything at all for me. I thought Slamiversary was a phenomanal card, like I thought Lock Down was. Wether they knocked it out the park is erralivent at this point, its just simply a paper point.
As far as this card goes it feels like a card late last year, where they established MEM. It was more about progression than quality. Thats okay with me on this occasion, because we as fans can recognise this and not buy it. The card furthurs a lot of stuff, now that Beer Money can futhur establish themselves as that new top tag team, Angle and Foley can draw on name on what probably wouldnt do good buys with out them, and the road to Bound for Glory grows.
My grievence lies with Nash. Nash is putting guys over, or at least not damaging them, but I think its got to that point he has got to stop wrestling. His legs look totally shot, and it scares me to watch him even hit offense now, for his health.

The card was never going to be as good as Slammiversary as TNA consider Slammiversary one of there three big PPV's. The next couple of PPV's are not going to match up to Slammiversary because it will all be done with Bound for Glory in mind.

Foley/Angle could go either way. Right now, I'm thinking it'll be pretty good. Foley seems to be slimming down and I think he'll want to put on a good performance. Angle is an absolute workhorse, capable of carrying the match. However, their styles could clash horrifically.
Speaking of Styles, I've seen him face Nash on iMPACT!... ooh, at least three times. Those matches were all appalling. It was because of Nash, obviously.
Beer Money vs. either 3D again or the two past-its. I like Beer Money. I do not like the other two. Booker and Steiner are an oddball tag team that, in any other promotion, would never win the title. This is TNA though, so they probably will. Seeing another Beer Money/3D rematch doesn't excite anyone. At least, I don't think so.
Sharmell vs. someone I've never head of. Eh, TNA's women wrestlers are bad enough as it is. Never mind their women non-wrestlers.
