Nah TNA have done worse. I didn't think it was as bad as Destination X. Every TNA PPV is fucking awful though. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I actually can't remember the last time i watched a TNA PPV. Since there shown a couple of days later over here i usually wait to see what people think of it & then decide to watch it based on what they say. Responses are usually pretty low for TNA. Not surprised tbh.

I think you're a wise man. TNA PPVs are rarely, if ever, worth watching.
Come to think of it this is probably in the top 5 worst PPVs I've seen lol.

Styles should go to WWE anyway. He could do wonders on Smackdown and be a top face or heel over there. And maybe Vince would actually let Styles be in the main event, as well.

There's no way he'd be treated as bad as he is TNA to be honest. I could see him getting very over very quickly, and that usually results in a big push.

Re: Victory Road - July 19th 2009 - Orlando, Florida
I think a lot of you need to check your TV's as the sound doesnt appear to be working very well. For most of the show the crowd were really into it which surprised me since it was still in Orlando.
The Good:
Abyss vs Dr. Stevie - A brawl that saw Abyss get his revenge without resorting to hundreds of weapons. After a short offensive flurry from Stevie at the start, Abyss took over and pretty much killed Stevie, and the fans loved it.
AJ Styles vs Kevin Nash - Styles showed he can work with just about anyone. Styles played the underdog to perfection and had Nash dead on his feet before getting surprised and winded by the chokeslam. Nash showed his vetern instincts while Styles showed how he can take on anyone regardless of their size. Even though Nash won, Styles went over.
Angelina Love vs Tara - I was really surprised to see Love get the win here, i expected Tara to hold it for a while longer. Saying that, i'm glad Love regained as she never should have lost it to begin with. Plus, she was wearing some epic wrestling attire, cant blame Velvet for wanting to grab hold.
Kurt Angle vs Mick Foley - Would have went into the not so good catagorie but considering Angle was injured, i'm going easy on it. Only one point during the match did Angle show he was injured and that was when he was walking on the outside to get a chair. He had a slight limp at the start but not noticable if you didnt know he was injured. No interferances and a relativly clean finish made this a much better match than i expected. The only bad thing was the pace which seemed like an 80's/early 90's match but all things considered, you cant hold that against the wrestlers involved.
The not so Good:
Beer Money Inc vs Steiner and Booker - I have no problem with Steiner and Booker winning the titles as it makes sense from a storyline development point of view. It was your basic tag match but i expected more from the people involved. The finish was good as it made sure to put BMI as the babyfaces and MEM as the heels. One hell of a Beer Money chant after the suplex aswell, it's hard not to like these guys.
Matt Morgan vs Daniels - Daniels did great with his selling but Morgan doesnt seem to be able to work with small and fast guys. Morgan winning made sense and was expected.
Team 3D vs The British Invasion - It was the verterns who let this match down, 3D didnt seem at all intrested in selling for the Brit's which hurt the match. Rob Terry seems like a headless chicken at times and should only be used as a bodyguard rather than a manager. Being a title match, the result was never in doubt. 3D appear to be going through the motions these days and need something new to freshen them up. A feud with Bashir and Kiyoshi wont do that.
Sting vs Samoa Joe - One of their better matches together but they havent had that many good matches to begin with. The fact that there was nothing on the line made it feel like it should have been on iMPACT! instead of the sub main event of a PPV. The right result with the right finish imo.
The Bad:
Sharmell vs Jenna Morasca - This was always going here regardless of what else happened on the PPV. Aside from Morasca's ring entrance and final pin, this match was a waste of time and what you would expect from two of the least talented WWE Divas, basically, the opposite of what the TNA fans have grown to expect from the women (Minus Rhaka Khan). Sharmell is a trained wrestler and the wife of Booker T so she should have been able to carry the match but seemed lost herself, Morasca has only a little training but did show that she is working on it, even though she is nowhere near good enough to wrestle on PPV. SoJo Bolt was pointless, at least Kong continued her tweener turn.
Overall:
No-where near as good as Slammiversary, or even Lockdown but better than some of the PPV's this year. Probably fourth so far this year behind Slammivrsary, Lockdown and Genesis.
