I know its very daring to name a thread the "biggest problem in TNA" considering how many there are, but I think I have it. Listening to a lot of Hunter G, and other wrestling radios, as well as having numerous discussions and given it a lot of reflection. TNA yes has terrible writing, yes poorly uses their limited TV time, eg. Ruff Cut Segments, and yes uses washed up talent. But the biggest problem of all is nothing gets done.
When TNA launched Sting's heel turn of sorts last year they started a lot of feuds and storylines. There was one with Samoa Joe, then AJ Styles, then Kurt Angle. But in TNA nothing gets done. Stings feud with Joe was never resolved, but thats excusable as Joe segwayed into a feud with Nash. It looked like a Sting AJ feud had longevity, but ended abruptly after the multi man PPV match, with no resolution between the twos falling out at all, nor reference to AJs 'Father'. Infact from start to finish with the whole MEM storyline whats really happened? Booking should have a mentality that a change should occur from where guys are before and where they should be after. Everyone is the MEM is where they were before and the same for the supposed Front Line. Nothing happened, a few PPV matches, and a Lockdown match that had no effect on anything.
These issues dont end with the main event. TNA went no where with Hogan in the Asylum days. TNA bring in Lashley on PPV, with no contract, now his future with the company has a major question mark. Mick Foley and JJ are feuding, but now JJ has a new feud with Young before any resolution was made with the Foley feud. Either one or the other is going to be un resolved, as he cant do both. Infact vey few TNA feuds have a beggining middle and end. Most trail of or end abruptly. What happened to the Sheiks Army idea with No Limit?
Keep in mind its not my purpose to bitch. I think if your going to blindly critisise back it up, and offer a better alternative. Well the alternative here is have a booking plan and stick to it. The MEM storyline was killed before it began, when it was obvious it was being written on a weekly basis and the leader of the Front Line contiually changed. TNA isnt a bad show even now, it has great points, but of all critism, this has to be their biggest issue. Wasn,t Steiner going to kill JJ a few weeks ago? What happened with that? Case and point, its a Cluster Fuck when you have different writers writing different feuds every week.

I have to agree that TNA's inability to resolve anything is a huge issue, but it is made all the worse by all of the other things they do wrong. If they had the ability to push new talent, to showcase matches not clusterfucked with gimmicks, or to sensibly create a rivalry over an issue or Title that actually made sense, that would be really nice.
I think the fact that a good 50% of fueds in TNA don't see any sort of resolution is sort of the lynch pin in it all though. All the other issues would seem half as bad, if they could big an angle to it's conclusion decently. For example, over the past few months Jarrett has fueded with Angle, Foley, Sting, Steiner and now Young... Not one of which has been resolved. The Angle fued blow-off seems to have been the multi-man Lethal Lockdown match, which is totally non-sensical as you cannot use a multi-man match to conclude a fued, only to re-new or create fueds. The Foley fueds seems to have ended at Sacrifice, with absolutley zero resolution. The Sting fued didn't even get of the ground at all, and the Steiner fued was simply forgotten. It's crazy to believe that you can continue to produce this kind of shit and that people will continue to tune in.
