It'll probably go as part of his gimmick. He cut a promo recently saying how TNA keep forgetting about him until they need someone to make something out of nothing. Dropped to the pre-show i'd count as being forgotten about. It's a shame he turned in a qualifyer as any other match would have gotten him a good spot on the card.

It's Slammiversary, where the legends of TNA meet the newcomers... Which makes no sense with Daniels/Douglas, Raven/Abyss, or 3D/Beer Money... But whatever.
As long as Young turns on Rhino, I guess the spot isn't wasted.
Can somebody inform me how these matches came about?
Morgan has been trying to get himself a spot with the Mafia. Angle was liking him but then Sting became the leader and wasent intrested. Morgan ended up costing Sting his KOTMQ. Morgan demanded a chance to prove himself and earn a spot in the Mafia, Sting offered the match. If Morgan wins he is in.
Shane Douglas returned to TNA by attacking Daniels. The next week he cut a promo complaining about how Daniels was given a second chance despite being fired while he wasent. The storyline is that Douglas is without a contract and feels he deserves it more than Daniels. Douglas attacked Daniels and Styles at different points leading to Daniels putting his roster spot on the line at Slammiversary. If Douglas wins he gets back on the roster at Daniels expence but if Douglas losses he is gone again.
