Alright, Im at a complete loss for Sacrafices main Event. I was under the impression for the last 5 weeks that the loser of the 'Sacrafice Fatal Four Way' match won the person they beats sacrafice AND becomes TNA champ. They built this thing like the title was on the line for any fall, and never let on that it wasnt the case. For those who didnt work it out, and a lot didnt, Sting isnt champion.
This leads to a massive contradiction. Why have Sting cut promos about taking the title of Mick Foley, then leap across the ring for Kurt Angle to become leader of the MEM. Unless this results in an angle where Sting states he wanted to end the match early to not risk his carreer TNA just booked a PPV around something that makes absoulutly no sense. You can usually find some deep seeded reasoning behing storylines from TNA, but not tonight. Im not mad, Im used to it, and the show didnt seem bad, but with Slamavery coming up having Mick Foley in a ladder match just might not work out great.

I thought the title was on the line aswell but figured out half way through (When Foley was taking a break and doing commentary) that it was only going to change if Foley got pinned, which actually made sense considering the others would only lose their sacrifice if they got pinned.

Yeah exactly what I was gonna write. It makes sense in a TNA sorta way.

This is funny. My friend and I were both talking about this. I was like "so sting is the new champ and the leader of the Mafia" but then he tells me to keep watching. I ranted for a bit at how dumb it was for everyone pinning anyone other than Foley. It was dumb. What's the point of pinning Jeff, Angle, or Sting, if you don't get the title in the process. TNA has been enjoyable for me lately but that was just a dumb ass gimmick of a match.

Kind of actually liked on Impact when he shook things up, and got rid of security, and the women in The Mafia. After watching that it makes a lot more sense to me.

Actually, pinning Angle or Jarrett did make sense. Beating Angle would give you control of the Main Event Mafia, beating Jarrett would give you his shares in the company. The only one that didn't make sense was Sting. What would you get from beating him? All you would do is force him to retire, you wouldn't actually get anything.
Sting pinned Angle because he saw Jarrett take out Angle and saw a chance to win the match.
I am not defending TNA's decision, they have a long history of making these unnecessarily complicated stipulations for matches and then failing to explain the rules clearly.
