Don West is hated pretty good in the internet community. He talks to much, goes on and on, can be over bearing, loud, and his voice could bring a saint to breaking point. But despite it all, with all critisisms still fair game over the last couple of weeks he has really developed into a hilarious heel comentator.
During the "Life in Jeff Jarrat" promos, Wests disproval made it almost bearable. When West said he thinks that the Suicide Daniels issue is 'a whole fraudulent situation" I lost it. And finally Wests introduction of Rocky on Impact this last week was priceless in my opinion, running down Rockys wins against "Clubber Lang, or who could ever forget that Russia".
I dont know how to feel, but after years of hating West I feel he's hit his groove, and I would even say this last week in isolation, he is as funny as the King was when he played the heel.
Thoughts?

I've not seen last week's Impact, but to be honest I always enjoyed West even as a face, although that was partly because he was entertainingly bad. I have noticed that his heel work has been pretty impressive, and I've found myself laughing at him even more since the turn. I think it was a great decision by TNA and West in general gets too much hate on the internet. Hopefully people will appreciate him more now.
I dunno about as funny as the King though, he was pretty hilarious back in the day. Why did they make him suddenly like the faces. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

Yeah true. On average he isnt nearly as funny as the King was, but I think last week he was close, just that week on its own. I remember in the 6 man hell in a cell when the King was supporting Kurt Angle, and that was with out a doubt the funniest heel comentary Ive ever heard. Its just sometimes West falls into old annoying habits and it becomes to easy to forget the good points
I loved the Don West rocking up late 'smelling of alcohol' routine, and the shots he takes at JJ make impact bearable for me. I just hope they dont turn him face again.
