Kevin Nash is gold on the mic. Mark my words, he WILL be commentating somewhere after he retires. Wtf is Booker's gimmick? He still does the King of the Ring entrance, but when he talks he... I can't even describe how awful it is. Is his gimmick that he's black?
Back on subject, I'm starting to like West's heel commentary. It's a refreshing change from the "booo heel" and "yaayy face".
Off topic, but I've noticed that ROH has a heel commentator now. Maybe WWE will follow suit.

I've brought this up before, but around 2005-06 Mike Tenay and Don West were my favourite commentary team. I have since changed my mind on that front and I've been nothing but disappointed by them throughout 2008-09. While DW is much more bareable as a heel, he's still a bag of shit sat next to a bag of shit. TNA need new commentators.
Correction, Black Snow is awful. Booker did a couple of commentary spots on Smackdown a few years back and his manner was perfect. He's a brilliant commentator

It does seem that since his TNA debut his gimmick has literally been that he is black. He's been many different versions of "black" but his gimmick is pretty much that he is a man of colour. Good writing there TNA. I remember when Sonjay Dutt was just a guy who happened to be from India and was not defined by the colour of his skin.
I also doubt that WWE will be following in TNA or ROH's footsteps for anything, least of all commentary styles.

back when Booker was in WWE as King Booker, he used to come out and do guest commentary with his crown on and talk with a fake British European/aristocrat accent and then when another wrestler confronted him at the announce booth he'd stand up and start talking ghetto again. . .that was fucking HILLARIOUS.
I'm watching this past Thursday's Impact as I type this, and DW is absolutley owning the commentary!! I'm wetting myself at this guys schtick, he's hilarious now. This heel turn is the best thing to have happened to him in ages.
