Face it. In the WWE, and even in indie feds like ROH, are struggling to keep their tag team divisions alive. WWE has just seemed to neglect it after unifying the belts and splitting up teams. ROH has Steenerico and American Wolves (and Stevens/Albright, I guess), hoping to get more depth.
Right now, and because of the recent tournament, it seems like tag team wrestling, a great tradition and match type, is now in the hands of TNA. They are the beacon of light for tag wrestling. With already well established teams like Team 3D, LAX, and Motor City Machine Guns, they've now boosted their surgence of teams with picking up No Limit, getting Brutus and Doug Williams as the British Invasion, two people who I thought were going to be World Champions as Beer Money, and Lethal Consequences, not to mention stables that could easily work as tag teams and new possible teams forming like Holliday and a returning Cade. They even put out a DVD about their tag teams. Some of these teams might get clustered in the mist or mis-booked, but it adds to their pros of a healty tag division.
I give TNA kudos for this. I have always thought of tag team wrestling as a very important standard in professional wrestling and it sucks that it has been mistreated as of late. I .....thank....TNA for keeping a tag division alive right now.
Thoughts?

I agree this is a positive. Maybe the booking is off but they have several teams and at the very least do their best to make the tag division sound important.

Sometimes that's all it comes down to. Just making something seem important. Present it to the fans in a way that tells them they should care.

It seems a bit too cluttered to me, and either I have a really low attention span (and I do), but half the time they don't even bother talking about the tag titles. Honestly... I don't care about the belts, which is a bad thing and I don't even know who has the belts half the time, which is a bad thing. I think if they put a little more emphasis on the TNA belts and not Buh Buh Ray blabbering on about ECW for the 90th time (Okay, I get it! I miss it too! I'm nostalgic myself! BUT GIVE IT A REST, OH MY GOD. That's all I hear about when his dumbass is on TV) or MCMG & Lethal Consequences becoming Detective Conan Edogawa in trying to figure out who Suicide is. I don't particularly have a problem with the latter itself, more of how the X Division and Tag Divisions are structured. It's just a complete clusterfuck.
Eh I digress, at least they have a tag division. WWE's is non-existent.

It isn't so much that their tag division is great, it's just that everyone elses sucks and they know it. Bubba Ray reminds us every week. TNA throws together people who they don't have anything to do with in a tag team, and they don't do anything with with the established tag teams. I mean, their most over tag team, MCMG, haven't even held the titles yet. I wanted to see a LAX/MCMG fued when LAX had the title but instead they pair up two singles wrestlers and give them the belts. But hey, at least they're smart enough to capitalize on other companies mistakes.

I agree that the Tag Division is strong, but the Tag Title Tournament currently being held has shown exactly why TNA's bookers are fucking morons. Motor City Machine Gun's eliminated by Suicide and Amazing Red! What? Two guys who just met face off with one of the most over teams in the division (who are heels for no reason) and beat them? No, That's stupid.
Lethal consequences. Two black guys, let's have them tag. For no reason. Jay Lethal should be dropping the comedy schtick and be getting involved with AJ, Joe and Daniels against the MEM... But noooooo. TNA knows best. They'll let him wallow in the Tag Division and do fuck all to make him credible as a singles competitor again.
Gah! As much as I love some of the guys in TNA, it just makes me so mad sometimes.
