iMPACT! - April 16th 2009 - Former Champion Returns


TNA Wrestling returns to SpikeTV on Thursday at 9/8c with more Total Nonstop Action as the road to the April 19 Lockdown Pay-Per-View continues! The below is a preview of what will take place on the huge broadcast:

- A former TNA Champion returns to join Jeff Jarrett’s Lockdown team and bolster the Frontline! Who will be Jarrett's final team member? How will Kurt Angle and the rest of the Main Event Mafia react to this huge return? Tune in Thursday and find out who the mystery man is just days before Lockdown!

- Executive Shareholder Mick Foley is slated to conduct an interview with...Cactus Jack?! Has Foley gone off the deep end once again? What exactly does Foley have planned in his warped mind as he prepares to face Sting for the World Title at Lockdown? Find out on Thursday night on SpikeTV!

Also scheduled for Thursday's broadcast:

- Mike Tenay will conduct a sitdown interview with TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett

- In a three-way bout, it will be Homicide of the LAX vs. Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns vs. Naito of No Limit

- In Knockouts action, it will be The Beautiful People taking on the unlikely duo of TNA Women's Champion Awesome Kong and Taylor Wilde

- Plus, more news on the April 19 "Lockdown" Pay-Per-View event!

iMPACT! has been pretty good so far. Great opening promo, teasing Jarret's sides. Good first match. 4 minutes.

I think that implant flapjack into the belt was sick. Good way to cover up the shitty 1 minute match.

Good fun promo with 3D, Spike and Balls. So I'm sold that it'll be Tazz, with Rhino and Raven also doing a possible run in. Lol at the Heyman part.

Let's see if Daffney is any good as Daffney and is Deaner is any good (well, I already know he is). He is FUCKING over.

Decent 3 minute comedy match. Should have done more with someone whom is as over as Deaner. Like, he is OVER.

Matt Morgan, a personal favorite of mine. Beat down Abyss. Good quick build up segment.
