Re: iMPACT! - April 9th 2009 - Samoa Joe vs Booker T
I like tna and still hold out hope for the company, and I realize you need promos and backstage stuff to build fueds but when you have a 2 hour show and in the first hour and a half we only see two matches (both of which seemed extremly rushed) thats just flat out rediculous.
edit: we just saw the 3rd match of the night and again it over in just a couple of minutes, TNA really needs to wake up because I really don't want to have just WWE again.
P.S., I love the beautiful peoples entrance.

Re: iMPACT! - April 9th 2009 - Samoa Joe vs Booker T
This is brilliant. Mick Foley vs. MCMG in a first blood match. Let us see if the MCMG are willing to blade now or not. I totally forgot those rumors of them being in the dog house for not blading. Also, the promos have been great this week.

Re: iMPACT! - April 9th 2009 - Samoa Joe vs Booker T
The Main Event Mafia minus Booker T and Sharmell make their way to the ring to start the show. Sting has the mic and wants answers from Jarrett but he wants them in public and thus asks Jarrett to join him in the ring. Jarrett doesn’t waste his time in getting to the ring. Sting wants to know why Jarrett let Foley book the Sting vs. Joe match last week. Sting wants to know who is in charge around here. Jarrett isn’t impressed and says he has enough to deal with. Sting tells Jarrett to let the world know that Foley is now in charge. Jarrett disagrees. Sting tells Jarrett to make it right and since Foley booked Sting in a warm up match last week, Foley should have one tonight. Jarrett wants to know why Sting is questioning him. Sting says he has some stroke around here and for the first time he is going to use it. Sting gets in Jarrett's face which prompts Steiner to step in. Steiner tells Jarrett that he is losing control due to Mick Foley. Steiner says it doesn’t need to be like this and again proposes he joins the Main Event Mafia. Steiner and Jarrett are interupted by.... The Machine Guns? Shelley says he and Sabin agree with Sting and say it wasn’t fair what happened last week. Shelley says that’s what happens when Mick Foley is in charge. Shelley says he and Sabin are for hire tonight due to Foley humiliating him back in November. Shelley proposes Foley vs. the Machine Guns tonight. Jarrett makes the match which the Mafia seem to agree with.
Backstage with Jeremy Borash is Mick Foley. Foley is acting like this was his plan all along to get Jarrett back in the right frame of mind. Foley then says he is going to tweak his match a little.
JB tries to get a word from Jarrett but Steiner interrupts and kicks JB and the camera man out.

Bashir is slow to his feet before Suicide sends him to the corner with a running dropkick. Bashir rolls out to the apron. Suicide grabs his head but Bashir drops down to hang Suicide on the top rope. Bashir pounds Suicide in the corner before trying an Irish Whip. Suicide blocks with a forearm to the face. Suicide follows up with a corner clothesline before hitting an atomic drop to the mat instead of the knee. Leg drop from Suicide. Suicide looks to try for a stunner but Bashir shoves him out of the ring to Kiyoshi and No Limit. A three on one attack follows before Suicide is dumped back in the ring. Bashir hits a neck breaker for a two count. Bashir shoves Suicide to the corner and hits several shoulder tackles. Hard Irish whip across the ring follows. Sleeper from Bashir leads to Suicide fighting back but then taking a back drop. Bashir climbs the ropes but Suicide recovers and throws him off. Suicide hits a clothesline and a kick to the knees before a rolling Samoan drop. One member of No Limit gets on the apron for Suicide to knock back down. Bashir quickly recovers and hits a modified piledriver for a two count. Bashir grabs the title belt as Niato distracts the ref. Suicide prevents the title shot but gets kicked in the head from Kiyoshi. Bashir hits the W.M.D. onto the title belt for the three count.

Lauren confronts Abyss out his session with Dr. Stevie last week. Lauren says she is going with Abyss the next time to ensure Dr. Stevie stays in line.
Foley tells us a story about his son changing his hair style to mimic Alex Shelley. Obviously Foley wasn’t thrilled. Foley goes on to change the Main Event match tonight to a First Blood match with Sting as Special Enforcer. Foley also says Jarrett can be at ringside to do whatever the hell it is founders do. Foley says after tonight, no child will ever want to look like Alex Shelley again.
Booker T is in serious business mode tonight. Booker says Sharmell hasn’t been the same since last week. Booker basically says he is going to get revenge on Joe tonight. Angle says he is going to be at Booker's side tonight. Angle says the tribal manslaughter ends tonight.
During the commercials Styles caught up with Joe and says he is going with Joe tonight. Joe says his nation of violence is a nation of one.
Booker T vs. Samoa Joe
Like Angle said, he is with Booker on his way to the ring. Joe comes alone. Joe once again is straight into the offence with kicks, punches, chops and even chokes in the corner. Booker eventually gets an opening to get a kick in on Joe. Booker hits three knees but then misses a clothesline to allow Joe to hit a jump kick to the side of the head. Angle trips Joe to allow Booker to get back on the offensive with more knees and kicks in the corner. Angle hands Booker a steel chair but AJ Styles grabs it and pulls it away. Styles and Angle go at it on the outside. Styles gets in several punches to leave Angle down on the outside. In the ring Booker tries an Axe Kick but Joe hits a Power slam instead. Joe drives Booker down hard and gets the three count.

Joe isn’t happy with Styles getting involves and tells him so. Next week will be the decider on who gets first entry for Lethal Lockdown. Kevin Nash takes on the fourth member of Team Jarrett who is yet to be named.
Cody Deaner took ODB to Universal Studios for their date. Talk about cheap, that’s where iMPACT! is. Cody Deaner meets Woody Woodpecker and gets a picture with him. Cody is terrified of the JAWS ride. At the end Cody says it was the best day of his life and even gets a kiss from ODB.
The Machine Guns are very confidant of winning tonight and Shelley even says Foley can take the IWGP Jr. Tag titles if he can beat them. Sabin says Foley can hardly get out of bed anymore let alone wrestle. Shelley says Sting has a ticket waiting if he wants it.
Scott Steiner vs. James Storm
This was supposed to be a tag match but Nash wasn’t cleared to wrestle. Team 3D join the commentary for the match. Steiner is accompanied by Nash. Roode is with Storm.
