Eric Young is being screwed

Watching Impact this last week the main critisism was Kurt Angles total rediculus domination of EVERYONE but a major issue hit home for me watching. Eric Young.

EY in my opinion is a greatly talented individual. He can work the fast pace the X Division is loved for, but has the strength (Cenaesc when you watch some of the stuff he does) and repertwar to go with the 'bigger guys' EY is a crowd favourate, and has always drawn a good response. So I guess watching TNA this week I asked my self what the fuck is TNAs problem.

Young comes into the gauntlet and is eliminated fresh in a minute by angle, and is made to look really really weak. Yeah so were a lot of guys, but this was different because it made me look back on the last 9 months of EYs carreer and it doesnt look good.

TNA give Young an afraid of everything gimmick. He was good at it, but it did him no favours. TNA had the answer to the problem, put him in a super hero costume. So EY is totally disrespected as a worker with his stupid gimmick for a extended period of time imo but moves out in the Mafia story line. Thats the back story heres where things start to really get messed up.

EY becomes confident and they re create him, or half ass attempt to which went okay. So EY wins the X division title, twice, but its taken of him, twice. Thats gotta be really really annoying. So thats not so bad if they were going to give EY a pay of, but no, he loses to Shelley and proceeds to get his ass beat by angle backstage at impact later. TNA try to resalvage EY again, beating Angles fat security guard. I think it made him look worse than good, selling for a nobody 250 pounds overweight. But thats when the crime happened.

EY jobbed to Brutus Magnus at DX. EY who is a long termer in TNA, from the early days, who has worked his way up, payed his dues, and looks to be being pushed is jobbed out to a green as lettuss Magnus with all his momentum stolen.

Then Impact EY is again made to look weak. Now Youngs wrestling some guy from Hogans Wrestling Challenge. Why is EY allowed to be screwed like this? In what world is Eric Young to be used like this? Why is Eric Young looking for Elvis the high point of his 2008? I dont understand it.

Really what do you expect, TNA is stuck in the 90's, trying to market to the older generation of wrestlingfans with overkill. Right now they value the likes of Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, Sting, and so on because they want to take us back to the most popular time in wrestling. In the process they have killed the characters of AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, Kaz, Abyss, Christopher Daniels, and Eric Young. I have no clue why TNA would job out Young to Brutus. For one, Brutus isnt much bigger than an X Division wrestler, two he is playing the part of a Roman gladiator from England

, thrid, he is so green Obama is trying to add him to the stimulus package. Thats TNA for you though, Im sure EY will get his shot at the big leagues, but thats not till Kurt Angle and the rest of the 90's all star team decides to retire or go back to the Dubya Dubya E.

eric Young is probably one of if not the most underrated wrestler not just in Tna but in wrestling today. He was amazing in Team canada in Tna 2004 & 2005 ever since they split up tna have been to busy sticking stupid gimmicks on him (super eric??????) instead of letting him do what he does best and thats wrestle
