X-Division Being Eliminated?

So with Sonjay Dutt and Petey Williams both released from TNA, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe main eventers, and LAX, Lethal Consequences, & MCMG limiting comittment to the X-Division it leaves only Bashir, Abdul, and Kiyoshi as full time X-Division stars. It looks as though the X-Division is being elimated. With that said, I really just hope they get rid of the belt and, let AJ win the Legends belt and change its name. It would broaden the midcarders competition and not have a belt become meaningless.

I dont see it as being eliminated but more freshened up as the majority of the division had been there for years so we were not getting anything new.

Right now we have Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Jay Lethal, Consequences Creed, Homicide, Kiyoshi, Sheik Abdul Bashir, Eric Young, Shark Boy and if you wish to count him, Suicide. A lot of them havent faced each other properly in TNA.

Doug Williams is under contract so its only a matter of time before he comes in full time. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are also still under contract so when they both return, the division will be staked up once again. With Alex Koslov now gone from CMLL, TNA are free to sign him if they can. They couldnt previously due to a working arangement with CMLL. Plus the Japanese guys who do a series of matches every so often.

its really horrible that petey and dutt are gone,they were 2 of my favs and they really showcased how diferent tna was,its a shame as i saw petey especially as a future star

TNA is getting rid of the joke characters. Now if only we could get rid of Sharkboy and Suicide, the world of TNA would be a somewhat better place.

Not to mention Black Machismo. I just can't take Lethal seriously with that gimmick.

I just want him break kayfabe like he did when SoCal turned on him. I thought that was the end of Macho Machismo and the return of Jay Leathal. I dont even think there was a need to give him that dumb gimmick in the first place, he was pretty over as plain ol' Jay Lethal.

Well I liked hte gimmick to begin with because even though he was over, he got far more over as The Black Bachizmo. However, he's got the fanbase now and right now would be the perfect time to "straighten up", getting ready to fight the MEM in a manner similar to Eric Young.

Jay Lethal as Jay Lethal was about as intresting as a brick wall. Great wrestler but outside the ring, nothing. The Black Machismo gimmick has pushed him from a nobody to the top guy in the X-Division even when he isnt champion. He's so popular, he doesnt even need the title anymore.

If TNA didnt have so many people on the roster, he would have made the jump to the Heavyweight division by now like Joe and Styles before him. He's had a few high profile matches, but their simply isnt any room for him right now.
