So, I know this is a fomer-cliche thread in which we all became annoyed with the concept considering the amount of guys TNA decided to pick up. However, I feel that right now there is a significant amount of wrestlers on the market that were recently released from WWE that could be great assetts to TNA.
Look at it like this, TNA is releasing people right now and we may soon see the departure of the likes of Petey williams, Rock & Rave, Roode, Dutt, Sharky, Kip and others and a very large amount of roster space could be filled.
One one hand, I think TNA needs to get rid of some guys anyways, so by all means, make your show format better and not stuffed with segment after segment TNA, but I just don't think that's that way they think. There is no doubt in my mind that they the roster is being cleared for ex-WWE guys. With that said, if they are going to cram their roster, I'd prefer it to be crammed with at least some of these ex-WWE guys than at least some of the people that may be out the door.
Right now the likes of Chris Masters, Kenny Dyksta, Elijah Burke, Shannon Moore, Stevie Richards and Val Venis are all on the market. Who out of these guys and others on the market would youl ike to see in TNA? Personally I wouldn't mind this:
Kenny Dykstra - Annoying Heel he can cut in the ring but for some reason just gets on my and other fans nerves simply because of his mic style. Can easily work the crowd into a roar of boos.
Elijah Burke - Okay, I'm sorry, but WWE dropped hte ball. With that said, TNA, you'd have to be idiots to not pick this guy up. He has smark popularity, legitimate mark popularity/heat, mic skills, charisma and definitely ring skills. He is almost the full package and could have broken out if given the chance. Too bad he got lost in the shuffle, but I think he could be redimed in TNA.
Shannon Moore - I know they already tried it with this guy and he kind of said "fuck it" and went to the E, but I can't blame him. Which one looks better to you? I'd say if they brought him to TNA with the watered down Prince of Punk gimmick he used on Smackdown!, he could be pretty good in TNA.
Paul London - Now he is the guy you need to use. I don't understand why he wasn't picked up THE DAY his clause expired. Really. Come on. The guy is the personification of the X-Division. He kind of reminds me of AJ Styles back in the day when he had no personality and all that could really be said a out him is that he had phenominal wrestling ability. He is THE GUY that could light up the X-Division again. Plus, just think of the matches he could have with Lethal, Dutt, Creed and eventually (come on) AJ Styles. It'd be epic if done right.
I don't know, but I personally love WWE and TNA's roster cut seasons, especially since they are so close. It's almost like an unofficial draft.
Thoughts?
