Ex-WWE Guys You'd Like To See Picked Up

So, I know this is a fomer-cliche thread in which we all became annoyed with the concept considering the amount of guys TNA decided to pick up. However, I feel that right now there is a significant amount of wrestlers on the market that were recently released from WWE that could be great assetts to TNA.

Look at it like this, TNA is releasing people right now and we may soon see the departure of the likes of Petey williams, Rock & Rave, Roode, Dutt, Sharky, Kip and others and a very large amount of roster space could be filled.

One one hand, I think TNA needs to get rid of some guys anyways, so by all means, make your show format better and not stuffed with segment after segment TNA, but I just don't think that's that way they think. There is no doubt in my mind that they the roster is being cleared for ex-WWE guys. With that said, if they are going to cram their roster, I'd prefer it to be crammed with at least some of these ex-WWE guys than at least some of the people that may be out the door.

Right now the likes of Chris Masters, Kenny Dyksta, Elijah Burke, Shannon Moore, Stevie Richards and Val Venis are all on the market. Who out of these guys and others on the market would youl ike to see in TNA? Personally I wouldn't mind this:

Kenny Dykstra - Annoying Heel he can cut in the ring but for some reason just gets on my and other fans nerves simply because of his mic style. Can easily work the crowd into a roar of boos.

Elijah Burke - Okay, I'm sorry, but WWE dropped hte ball. With that said, TNA, you'd have to be idiots to not pick this guy up. He has smark popularity, legitimate mark popularity/heat, mic skills, charisma and definitely ring skills. He is almost the full package and could have broken out if given the chance. Too bad he got lost in the shuffle, but I think he could be redimed in TNA.

Shannon Moore - I know they already tried it with this guy and he kind of said "fuck it" and went to the E, but I can't blame him. Which one looks better to you? I'd say if they brought him to TNA with the watered down Prince of Punk gimmick he used on Smackdown!, he could be pretty good in TNA.

Paul London - Now he is the guy you need to use. I don't understand why he wasn't picked up THE DAY his clause expired. Really. Come on. The guy is the personification of the X-Division. He kind of reminds me of AJ Styles back in the day when he had no personality and all that could really be said a out him is that he had phenominal wrestling ability. He is THE GUY that could light up the X-Division again. Plus, just think of the matches he could have with Lethal, Dutt, Creed and eventually (come on) AJ Styles. It'd be epic if done right.

I don't know, but I personally love WWE and TNA's roster cut seasons, especially since they are so close. It's almost like an unofficial draft.

Thoughts?

Re: Ex-WWE Guys You'd Like To See Picked Up

Well Elijah Burke would be an obvious choice. He is young, talented and should have been used better during his time with WWE, as you rightfully pointed out.

Paul London was quoted as saying he didn't want to join TNA as he might not continue wrestling, or something like that. He wanted to go into acting or something unless I am confusing him with somebody else. I agree that if he was available TNA should pick him up.

Dykstra would also be a decent pickup, but his attitude seems to be a major negative point.

I have no problem with TNA signing young guys whos best years should be ahead of them, whether they are from WWE or not. I just don't think they should be signing WWE guys who are past their prime just because they are ex-WWE. They should only sign older guys in special circumstances (eg HUGE draws).

Pretty sure they've already got Richards btw.

Burke: Was wasted in WWE, has great mic and ring skills, would be a great addition in TNA.

Moore: If TNA can get past him leaving for WWE in I think 06 he might be a very good addition in TNA.

Re: Ex-WWE Guys You'd Like To See Picked Up

Sadly, the X-Division is dead and the only four guys that can bring it to life are in Tag Teams. If TNA gave a shit, Moore and London would be huge commidities right now. I personally think that a PPV highlighting Creed vs. Sabin, Shelley vs. Lethal and Moore vs. London would be awesome and to have it mixed up from there. It's a shame and pure stupidity that those six guys will never be priorities again.

Re: Ex-WWE Guys You'd Like To See Picked Up

Creed isnt ready to be in big one on one matches as evident by his short feud with Bashir. He wasent able for one on one X-Division title matches. I think thats the big reason for him being teamed with Lethal, someone who knows well how to work the bigger matches and they are hoping it rub off on him. He is also still only 21 or 22.

Re: Ex-WWE Guys You'd Like To See Picked Up

But the X-Division is the right place for him, AND Him>Bashir imo. Plus early 20's is a good age to be as good as he is, even though he is still green.
