On the note of TNA always coping WWE.
Hello WWE back when it was WWF copied WCW all the time and WCW copied WWF. Coping and trying to make it better is something that has always been apart of wrestling.
Also its hard this far in to wrestling being around to come up with Orignal ideas.
Now yes Feast Or Fired does suck. But look at Ulitmate X. Something TNA came up with that rocks and its really not a rip off of anything and if you day ladder match then w/e. Six Sides of Steel yes its in a cage but hell I'm sure WWE wasn't the first to use a cage so its not a ripoff.
Re: Copying WWE so much, you're copying their failure
The point is that TNA sucks so much they will go up against WWE and end up losing money instead of making money. When your company fails to turn a profit, it generally ends up for sale.
Re: Copying WWE so much, you're copying their failure
While TNA is similar to WWE in many ways, there is definite potential for them to distinguish their own product from that of WWE in others. The main WWE failing TNA can capitalize on is the PG Rating. The fact that WWE seems so watered down now, and we don't see things like blood (apart from Orton last night), brutal matches, swearing, ''adult humor'', hell, even bikini contests, means that TNA could provide an alternative to WWE just by booking these things. To an extent I think TNA do do this enough to make their product substantially different to that of WWE, but sometimes it seems they overdo it if anything. TNA's booking is horrible, but the overall direction of the product isn't that bad. It is pretty much the kind of wrestling product I would be booking in their position. One that borrows ideas from WWE but also distinguishes itself by providing fans with the sort of things WWE refuse to do nowadays, thus attracting the disillusioned young adults demographic who think WWE is too watered down or too childish for them now.
If only they could actually execute all this properly...
