I am currently watching the PPV Against All Odds. I came to a huge realization.
TNA is all about the veterans. They don't give the little guys any room to grow. The little guys are always at the bottom. It's all about MEM. I mean, why not just change the name TNA to MEM? That's the only work anyone does, is promote the MEM.
I'm upset about Booker T vs Shane Sewell. It's obvious Shane was going to lose, but they didn't even let him wrestle. Booker T and his transvestite just laughed at him the entire time. Made him look really weak and easy, and he wasn't even doing anything. He just stood around like a weakling. I don't know what this match was supposed to prove. The tranny ends up tripping him and Booker T steals the win. Then AJ Styles appears out of no where... Throws Booker over the ropes and steals the belt. Just so stupid.
Boyfriend is sitting next to me asking me why I'm so mad. Well... I'm mad because the gimmicks suck, what happened to making it seem realistic?

Clearly you haven't heard of the times for those in midcard hell in WCW having trouble breaking the glass ceiling with Hogan, Nash, Hall, etc hogging the spotlight

I'm watching it atm as well. I read that paragraph during a good promo (I won't say which due to spoiler rule) that could argue against you a bit, but not much. I think this feud is going to be very long with a gradual slide in the direction of the Frontline. It has been so far, imo, even though MEM are still dominant atm.

That's a nice way to put it.
I've always thought the MEM was some sort of homage or play on what happened in WCW behind the scenes. If it wasn't intended as that, it sure feels like it.
Lullaby, basically that alot of people are turned off by TNA booking because it is so reminisent of when WCW was falling hard on their face and cramming "stars" down our throats, while the like of Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero and the Chris Benoits of the world were fuddeling around the midcard doing nothing.
I just don't know how many Jericho's TNA is currently holding down. Perhaps that's another reason why they give you MEMania week in and out.

Lullaby look at the Booker T / Sewell match this way. Booker T, the x5 WCW Champion and Legends Champion, had to use his wife to beat a referee. Booker T came off looking pretty sad in that match, not Sewell.
