Well I personally would have preferred the Mick Foley idea which would have been the obvious mark out moment root, but Abyss going back to his old ways was phenominal, nonetheleast. What are your thoughts on this? I personally love the way they did this, and it got me very pumped. Hopefully he isn't emo anymore because I loved the old Abyss.

Either way, I hope it played off well. They didn't use the clinically sane Abyss well imo. Made him look like a giant retard instead of a crazy guy trying to correct his ways.

The fucking slamming of his hand in thumbtacks was sick! I just cringed as the camera zoomed in on the tacks sticking out of his hand. I'm hoping Abyss comes back full and well. He's always been one of the crazier hardcore wrestlers in TNA and that has always been interesting.

Ok, I dislike TNA and their direct-to-camera promos, but even I have to admit that segment fucking ruled.
I think Abyss hardcore matches can be pretty trashy, but nonetheless I welcome the change in character.
Yeah that was pretty sick, but his match last night was epic bleh and it seemed like Morgan was sandbagging him big time, or just sucks at taking bumps.

That match last night was sick. I am in total agreement with the majority saying it's great to see Abyss back to his old character. Also, I marked out big time when he was smashing his hands in the tacks last week on impact! CLASSIC!
