Now I thought Motorcity Machine Guns were going to be splitting up after Alex Shelly faked and ankle injury to win the X Division Championship. What seemed to be an upcoming rivalry between the two kind of cooled off since then. Now I look at TNA's website and I see a match that has MMG againt Lethal and Creed. Is this going to be the match where MMG ends or has TNA pulled a WWE and expected their fans to forget all hints of a future singles rivalry between Shelly & Sabin?
I dont want TNA to split MMG. They are the best thing in TNA at the moment. Instead of splitting them up, they should get rewarded with a Championship run.

Do you have a reason not to give The Half Boy your vote for the Hall of Fame?
if tna does push a make shift tag team over a tag team that is a legit tag team along being over then tna needs to get a fucking clue.

The whole thing about the Motor City Machine Guns is that they're best friends and they do anything to win. I mean, yes, they did hint at Shelley basically turning on Sabin. But after the match it seemed that there was some sort of understanding. Then they teamed together in a Fatal Four Way match for the X Division championship, where we saw Shelley get another fairly cheap pin fall. I personally think TNA could work it out because Shelley and Sabin are almost paired up as brothers. Hell if TNA patches things up with the tag team and gets everyone thinking everything is fine and then throws a cruveball having Sabin screw Shelley out of the championship it would shock a lot of people and it would be highly entertaining.
I too don't want to see them part as a tag team because they are one of the best things about TNA, but eventually they will split up. They aren't being pushed in the tag team division, never really got a push in the tag team division, and now is the perfect time for them to split. But TNA can still make this believable. You've got to figure brothers or even really good friends wouldn't get too angry over them cheating to win. They came in with the attitude, as long as one of us wins and that happened. It makes sense to prolong the eventual split.

From a purely in-ring perspective, I'd much rather them split up. As a team they are pretty overated and sort of average, but they are far superior as singles competitors.

i am going to agree with you almost 100%
when they first teamed up i didnt think it could get any better. tna sort of screwed them up by not putting them anywhere near the gold tho. if they stay together for the sake of holding titles in japan.. that is wonderful. but i think a feud between the 2 for the x-title would be epic and might be what the division is in dire need of.
Considering they seem to be in a feud with Lethal Consequences, I'd say they are heel. Im still lost as to if Sabin & Shelly will be breaking up. All seems to be swell in the murder city.
