Despite the fact that he was originally the guy who constantly talks about respect and how the TNA Frontline lack it, and despite the fact that he is the TNA World Champion, Sting has taken a backseat to Angle in the Main Event Mafia, and let him do all the group's talking. That is, however, until last night, when Sting got sick of Angle making decisions for him, and took issue with Angle constantly speaking on his behalf, this time saying that they are not going to wrestle Ray and Devon in singles matches.
This minor disagreement is the latest in a long line of hints that Sting will turn face and the Main Event Mafia will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
How do you think this will go down?
I personally like the idea of Sting turning face because he kinda sucks as a heel. My only criticism is how obvious they are making the turn, but I guess it will be a big deal when it finally happens after all these hints.

This will be the tool that lets Sting understand he was wrong and he will join the Frontline within the next few months. He'll probably show disagreement with Angle's comments of MEM destroying TNA. He'll make the I can't believe what I have become speech and then he will help the younger guys destroy what he was a part of and helped create. I wouldn't be surprised if when Sting joins the Frontline, he calls in for some "support" and enter "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels knowing their brief history.

TNA's next ppv is Against All Odds. In the main event, the TNA World Championshionship will be defended in another tag team match that sees the victor( by pin or submission) win the championship. On Impact there was a disagreement between Sting and Kurt Angle on who would get the victory for their team. It appears if Sting is well on his way to turning face again, and if he does turn face I cant help but feel disappointed. Ive never been a fan of Sting, I find him over rated and boring, but I was interested in seeing what he could do as a heel. To date the most he has done is stand around during beatdowns and play the part of a hypocrite on the mic. Are you ready for Stings turn back to being a face or will you be disappointed like me?
He has played the part of the don for the Mafia who is basically supposed to stand there during beatings and in that aspect he has done a good job with the look but I just don't think he has been involved enough on the mic, Angle does all of the talking, Sting is experienced enough let him speak.

Yeah but Sting is really bad as a heel, that is why he doesn't talk much. Angle is an amazing talker, whereas I have never really got into Sting's promos, and particularly as a heel he isn't really very convincing. I think he works better as the guy who just watches it all go down and takes a backseat, although now it looks like he is getting sick of Angle making decisions on his behalf, and surely a face turn will be the end result.
Merged btw, because my thread was pretty much the same. I guess neXus missed it. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 20 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.
