"The Real Deal" Joey Nicholas

The camera opens up to Joey Nicholas strolling out of LAX airport with his luggage in tow heading for his red Ferrari F430. Once he gets nearer he pops open the trunk and sets his bags inside before closing it and getting inside the vehicle. After a moment the car roars to life and Joey leaves parking garage within the airport. The camera switches to one atop of the dashboard facing the windshield taping Joey getting onto the 405 highway and then changes back to one on the inside of the coupe, aimed directly at the champ‘s face.

Joey Nicholas: I came out of The X-fly championship match with MY title still intact as I always do in the dominant fashion that everyone knows and loves, and yet I still am not satisfied. I feel as if I’m still looked at as an after thought to Anderson. Instead of giving me the night off like I rightfully deserve after a grueling battle in London just days ago, I’m again forced to compete and defend my title against the very man I pinned to reclaim my most prized possession in the first place!

Joey Shakes his head as he puts on his sunglasses

Joey Nicholas: Instead of looking forward onto my next challenger on the horizon at the biggest show of the year, I’m again forced to face a freaking cock roach that just wont die! I’ve already stomped on De Vries twice! Seems like I need to finish him off once and for all with one last boot to the chin!

A Porsche 911 pulls up next to Joey and gives him a rev, attempting to race The Real Deal.

Joey Nicholas: Oh look yet another prick attempting to make a statement! It seems nowadays everyone wants a piece of the champ!

The Porsche honks its horn three times as Joey downshifts down to second gear at fifty miles per hour . On the third honk the race is on and both vehicles hit into high gear, roaring past their fellow drivers at a deafening speed. Joey shifts into third and begins to pull away from his competitor until the Porsche shifts and begins to reel him back in! Joey shifts again but to no avail, the 911 is about to be a bus length in front of him. Joey with a smirk flips open a gauge revealing a red button. As he pushes it, a hissing sound can be heard from the hood all the while The RPM gauge jumps up causing Nicholas to shift quicker as he passes the Porsche in the triple digits leaving it in his rear view mirror. The camera again returns to Joey’s face who’s grin is even wider than before.

Joey Nicholas: Yet another easy victory. He figured he was the all around better man and that I would be easy for the pickings! What a shame for someone to doubt the others ability beforehand. It seems everyone I’ve recently faced have figured that I would be easy pickings!

Joey shakes his head in disgust

Joey Nicholas: What you seem to fail to see every time you and I encounter one another Don is that just like my car, I have a hell of a lot more to me than meets the eye! I’ve already proved this very fact to you twice before and it now seems that the third time shall be the charm to finally get it through that thick skull of yours that over and over again the result will be the same, with it being announced Joey Nicholas the winner and STILL CWA X-fly Champion!

The scene cuts to Orlando Maxwell with his back to the door of the Brotherhood Locker room.

Orlando Maxwell: Later tonight CWA X-Fly champion Joey Nicholas will put his championship on the line when he faces the AMLL Cruiserweight Champion Joven Rayo in a title vs. title match up in what will surely be a fantastic bout. Both men will clearly be looking to add another title to each other’s resume and will no doubt boast about the feat accomplished tonight. With me now is CWA’s own Joey Nicholas!

The camera focuses out to reveal Joey Nicholas standing next to Orlando, the X-Fly championship slung over his right shoulder as his signature smirk is strewn about his face.

Orlando Maxwell: What are your thoughts heading into this historical bout Mr. Nicholas?

Joey shines up a smudge on his belt before looking into the camera continuing to grin.

Joey Nicholas: Well Maxwell that’s simple, I want to know what in the world Joven Rayo has accomplished in his second-rate career to gain such an opportunity against the Real Deal in the first place? He wins some no name company’s strap in some high school gym and he has the audacity to come into my ring to challenge me for my illustrious belt? If anything it should be me challenging for that piece of crap strap he calls a belt without mine on the line. I mean could you imagine that yard worker being the face of the X-fly division here in the CWA?

Orlando Maxwell remains silent as he holds the microphone to the champs face

Joey Nicholas: I didn’t think so! Nonetheless my credentials speak for themselves and prove why I am the most worthy competitor to get this chance of a lifetime! That being the first person on the CWA roster ever to hold two titles from separate companies at the same time. Mark my words, I will mop the floor with this joke of a man, and will be walking out of Minneapolis as the victor tonight with my hand raised in the air!

Orlando Maxwell: Joven Rayo should be the greatest test for you heading into your scheduled bout against the masked man known as Logan V at Five Star Attraction, what are you’re thoughts on the leader of the Lost Souls Alliance?

Joey Nicholas: I find it cute that everyone around here lately likes to play dress up and make believe they are something they are not; and that is a challenge. After all I will walk all over this cucaracha before finally setting my sights on the obliteration of Logan V! You see what Logan will fail to realize just like all of those that have fallen before him is that I thrive on competition. It’s in my blood. Hell I’m the most sought after champion in the business today and I love every second of it! Not even my fellow hoodlums feel the heat that I undergo week in and week out with this prestigious championship that I hold so dear to me! Those who have challenged me have never been the same again. McCoy couldn’t get the job done and neither could that massive ogre De Vries, and look at them now, they are now forever succumbed to a life a mediocrity. Tonight, Joven will fall and bow to my greatness foreshadowing Logan V’s Cinderella story coming to a complete and abrupt end!!

With that Joey puts on some shades and saunters down the hallway leaving Orlando Maxwell stunned

Suddenly, Rise by Anew Revolution resounds over the speakers and the crowd instantly voices their disapproval for the current X-Fly Champion making his way toward the ring in street clothes with his pride and joy slung over his right shoulder. Nicholas slips through the ropes and is quickly handed a microphone by demand.

Joey Nicholas: Ladies and Gentlemen, I appear before you as the most awe-inspiring individual to ever grace this company! I am your CWA X-Fly Champion, and the Real Deal Joey Nicholas!

The crowd immediately boos.

Joey Nicholas: I’m not here to voice my complete disapproval over not being included in the Ruler of the ring tournament, which of course I would have easily won without much effort at all. As I’m sure Mr. Guardian Devil is jealous as hell of my credentials thus far in my young career so it comes to no shock that sack of crap would attempt to sabotage my career before I begin to pass up his pitiful resume!

Boos drown out Nicholas.

Joey Nicholas: I’m not even here to gloat about my historic performance against Joven Rayo where I came within inches of making history!

Insults are now being chanted at the champion making Nicholas smirk.

Joey Nicholas: I am standing before you all at this very moment to take long hard look at my opposition at the biggest pay per view of the year in Logan V.

For the first time since Joey has been in the ring, the crowd pops.

Joey Nicholas: The man has and never will amount to anything in this business which is why he tried so desperately to play mind games with me by sitting at ringside. I’m so glad I showed him exactly what I thought of him when I spit right in his face! So you see Logan, despite your dire attempts to make an impression on me, you have failed to do so. You don’t impress me in the least bit! I’ve beaten past foes with far more talent in their pinkie than you do in your entire body Logan, so I look forward to beating you within an inch of your life at Five Star attraction to solidify the very notion that I am the very best that this company has to offer.

The Champion raises his championship in the air as his theme resounds throughout the arena drowning out the crowd.
