    Helms is back and stuffs

So I was unfortunate to end up watching this week's Smackdown, but luckily I forgot about Helms's return so that was a pleasant surprise. So... thoughts on his return? I like his new persona, a balance between himself and the Hurricane gimmick, it's fresh and looks like it could be a lot fun. I was pretty shocked by how big of a pop he got too. His charisma was more impressive than his ring work though, looked like he still had some ring rust. That Shining Wizard looked like shit.

I missed Smackdown, like usual. They really should switch it back to Thursdays because Fridays isn't working. Anyway by the sounds of it he had somewhat of a successful return. He will defiantly boost the cruiserweight section of Smackdown, if they still have it. How long was he out for?

Over a year and its good to see him back.

Looks a little chunkier than before but it was a good return for him.

When's the last time you watched SmackDown!? lol Cruiserweight division? They haven't had a literal division for cruiserweights for nearly as long as Helms has been out injured, which is over a year and a half by the by.

Anyways, no surprise that he has some ring rust, or a whole lot I guess. Give him a few weeks and he'll be back to being one of the performers on SD!. A push to the US Title in a couple of months would be nice for him now.

    I love Helms.

    And he scores goals...!

So as soon as Helms went you stopped? Does that mean you'll start watching again?

Its good to see Helms back but It would be far better if he was heel, I never liked him as Hurricane Helms, I prefered his heel cruiserweight title reign, it added some credibility to smackdowns mid card division.

    He looked like Burchill.

Here we go on my rant: Helms' return was lackluster and didnt help both him and MVP. He actually looked very week and his ring work really bought him right down and the overall match. MVP looked as though he owned him badly and Helms comeback really had me wondering if he even knew where the gym was anymore.

I know he has been out for the year but he looked as though he had never been to the gym since he was out. His hair really made me no longer like him as did the gimmick. I really hate the Hurricane Helms gimmick and he looked really out of place without the mask in that gimmick.

    Just my thoughts.

I was really marking for MVP, I want to see him get over soon, because WWE are making him look like a joke, they better had be building up for something big.

I thoguht the match between MVP/Helms was pretty good what with Helms being out for over a year. I'm still hoping they make this losing streak of MVP's into some sort of a push in the near future because imo it would be ridiculous to lose these many matches for cussing out a wellness doctor

Um guys, it's beyond obvious that the losing streak is an angle leading to something. I barely watch Smackdown and I know that, how can you have not picked up on that yet?!

I do like Shane Helms as he is another top performer for the SD roster. I can see him being a mid-carder sooner rather than later and going towards the US title. He looks different and I agree much fresher with a mix. He does look a bit chubby than he used to be and hopefully over the next month or two he can regain a credible run in WWE like he once had.

I like Helms, and was aswell fortunate enough to see him come back. As far as the gimmick goes, clever bridging him inbetween the Hurricane and Helms characters and it should work well. His body has to be forgiven, he can't really work out that much at the moment and maybe now he can start to tone down more. Same with the wrestling, he was sloppy, but he was wrestling infront of 15,000 people after neck fusion surgury and an 18 month lay off? For what it was it was good so if anyone's going to complain, give me a break.
