Missed out by 1 vote last year so it could finally be her time.

I could see me being a big cheerleader for Kawada this year as my AJPW watching continues.

A puro star getting inducted in an odd year? Seems unlikely.

I say this every year but Kawada is well overdue now.

Is Brock Lesnar now eligible? If so I'd like to give a shout out to him.

I'd throw Kane's name in there. Mark Henry and Big Show as well.

Dory Funk Jr should be considered.

One of the greatest NWA Champions ever. Big star worldwide and the better Funk (I'm only kidding... Or am I?).

Is there an actual criteria like other "hall of fames" in the world?

I believe the only factor is that they can't be wrestling full-time. That's how guys like Bryan and Jericho snuck in as they were largely inactive at the time.

    Thanks. And with that....

Three people that aren't in there yet that I would throw in there would be Jake the Snake and Scott Hall (really good in the ring, maybe not in the technical stance, but still really good. Great promo delivering. Delivering their character well.)
The other one would be The Rock, him and Austin made the Attitude Era. They were the big two in the biggest era. Might be the best guy ever on the mic. Matches weren't the greatest ring work, but they were entertaining. The man just knows how to entertain the masses and I'm pretty sure he's done wrestling, despite the rumors of him doing WM next year, that's said every year now so he can face Reigns.

Rock's already in, so we're good there.

Jake's before my time, but I dunno if I can vouch for the Hall pick. He did some good stuff in WWE way back when but once he jumped ship to WCW he was pretty bad basically every time he hit the ring. Can't deny his overall presence in the biz, but if you look at the list over the years there's a pretty clear workrate slant here and I dunno if Hall's gonna make the cut there.

I personally would also really like to see BIG DAVE make it in this year.

Re: 2021 WC Hall of Fame Ongoing Discussion

Man Punk getting in last year finally feels like divine intervention with his rumoured return to the ring this year meaning he would have been illegible this year.

Brock not being back by Summerslam makes me think he will go the year without wrestling and he'll be up for contention. Another name mentioned was Samoa Joe who now looks like he will wrestle this year.

Bobby Eaton's passing might put him, or the MNX overall, in contention.
