Haven't seen BFG but I gotta admit the card doesn't blow me away on paper. On the other hand I can see someone saying the same of SS95 and as that show is pretty fresh on my mind I will say I really enjoyed it top to bottom.

I'll probably pop an impact trial and try to watch BFG in the next day or two.

Abstaining because I haven't seen SS, but BFG is a sneaky great show. The LAX/Angels and Senshi/Sabin matches are both great, Sting/Jarrett and EY/Larry vary in quality but at least satisfyingly pay off long angles. The Nash Battle Royal is a alot of fun, Monster's Ball and the Street Fight are both entertaining, and the tag serves it's purpose well enough

Watched the SVS 95 Main event the other day and I thought it was tremendous. I haven't seen the rest of the card in ages. SVS shows are super easy to watch so I'll get through that in the next few days. Will check out BFG now. TNA PPVs and ROH PPVs are my total blind spots (I'm more of a "watch a few matches" person) so it'll be cool checking these out for the first time.

That Survivor Series PPV is really underrated imo (even though I never actually threw a nomination it’s way), and even though on paper the opener looks pretty jobberific, it’s a real fun match. Main event is exceptional too, and in my opinion, Diesels best match (though I get why most would say the Shawn match the following April).

I don’t recall ever seeing that Bound For Glory Show before, so I’ll probably have to abstain on this one.

Survivor Series 1995 was the best WWE PPV of the year. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a superior PPV from either company.

By October 2006, you were already starting to see little glimpses of signs that TNA was heading towards the wrong direction. The main event alone is proof of that with everyone wanting Samoa Joe to get the NWA Title, but he was thrown in a random Monster's Ball match in favor of Old Man Sting. Bound for Glory typically was never an all that great show due to TNA forcing the biggest name value stars into the top spots rather than trying to put on an actual good show.

Seeing as Survivor Series has the WWE MOTY and a pair of really good under the radar elimination matches, I see this as an easy win for the WWE event.

Voted for Survivor Series 1995. SVS has a much better and easier show to watch up and down the card. The surivivor tag matches are all super fun wrestling matches that range from solid to good and has a great main event. Bound For Glory has some good matches at the top of the card. I even like the main event more so than others will. But the first half of the card is so skippable. Unlike the SVS match, there isn't much appeal to sit through the show again.

Re: PRELIMINARY ROUND: Survivor Series 1995 vs. Bound for Glory 2006

I think Survivor Series has comfortably the best match of the two shows with Bret vs Diesel. I also really like the first two elimination matches.

My vote goes to Bound for Glory 2006. I think it's a very easy show to watch with very few down points. Not only that, but one thing I think is worth pointing out is that what hasn't been listed in the original post is the excellent Angle and Joe angle on BFG to set up their match. Most of the matches are solid-good, with Sabin and Ki being very good, as is the Six Sides of Steel match which I think is bordering on great. Main event is a bit of a letdown and I totally get that it should have been Joe, but I still don't think it's a bad match.
