What if the Blackburn scissor fight never happened?


With Vader running through basically everyone in World Championship Wrestling, there is one viable
challenger left: the other Master of the Powerbomb, Sid Vicious. The two powerhouses did battle it out at Starrcade 1993 with Sid Vicious defeating Vader for the WCW World Heavyweight title.



Inspired by Genadi's Montreal Prelude and Montreal Aftermath scenarios there will be two versions of this mod.

Impact Is Imminent starting in november 1993
Cause For Conflict starting in january 1994 *

* = This might be changed in the future, if there are some alternatives to Total Extreme Wrestling that will let you start on other days than the first day of the month. If this was possible Cause For Conflict would start the day after Starrcade 1993.

The Horsemen!

1993 also saw the return of Ric Flair to WCW and needless to say, he got a hero's welcome. Since
Tully Blanchard did get a normal offer, instead of a shame offer. Paul
Roma never became the emergency solution for the Horsemen. So the Horsemen is Ric, Arn and Tully, with Bryant Anderson as an associate.


The Equalizer?
Who? Never heard of him! Is that the guy Rick Rude talked about that was never hired?


The Shockmaster?
Road Warrior Hawk was never injured, so who the hell is The Shockmaster?

I've been adding a lot of detail into this and hopefully this will result in the AI being able to do a better job running the AI promotions.

So there are a lot of promotion based tag teams added as well as hiring rules and roster tweaks. Since Total Extreme Wrestling always have had an really poor AI this is the only workaround to get the AI to deliver some decent booking.

As I quickly mentioned earlier this mod will take advantage of the brand new Venue Database. So instead all venues opening by default in january 1950 like in many other mods, everything is preset.

So all venues are real (no fictional arenas with 300 as venue capacity).
All venues have a proper description if it's a outdoor, indoor venue or if it's a ship. Yes included in this mod are all cruise ships that were used by WCW and the European cruise ferries that have been used for European wrestling shows. So with this mod everyone can book the WCW Bruise Cruise.
Reputation have been set to help the AI book the frequently used venues that were used in real life.

You can also expect this Venue Database to be used in all of Genadi's upcoming mods and in Hive's mods trilogy (1994, 1995 and 1996).
