What's the Tito argument here? Guy was a real good worker for about 4-5 years but I'm not sure he was better for Valentine for the same period, and Valentine's pre-WWF stuff is vastly superior to Tito's.

What's the Valentine stuff pre-WWF like? I think I've seen some Garvin stuff but outside that I'm not really too up to date on it. I know both guys were awesome in the WWF 80's, I prefer Tito in that time period and echo the love for Strike Force that others have said. Plus as a midcard babyface workhorse, I really like Tito.

The most famous thing would be the Piper fued. His first WWF run (late 70s) was also very good.

The battle of the former stars that became gradually more depressing to watch once the 90s began.

I'm going with Santana. I know that if I had to choose between watching a random Valentine or Santana match, I'll likely always go with Santana. Valentine had chemistry with some, but often disappointed me with how rarely he delivered in random matches that seemed like a sure thing that they'd be good. Even his series against Ricky Steamboat didn't do a whole lot for me. Meanwhile, Santana managed to produce some memorable matches against the likes of Ron Boss, Bob Orton, Papa Shango, ect. His babyface fire allowed him to generally gel with more men than Valentine did.

This is my thought process as well. I'm a fan of both guys, particularly their matches against each other, but Santana always brings me a level of excitement that I just don't get with the Hammer.

This was a nice match up. I echo Fuji. Both are on similar levels but Santana gets your blood pumping.
