    No posts!?

I'm leaning Martel heavily. Prefer Angle's peak but Martel was much better for longer and nowhere near as much as a chore as Angle got once he started repeating his formula over and over. But I'll wait and see if anyone actually bothers here?

Only 3 votes for one of the best wrestlers ever Rick Martel?

I won't be voting, and it looks like I'll get chance to get into this in future rounds, but Angle had more bad years in his career than good years. I really wouldn't want to see him go too deep. I'd want to hear people's reasoning at least

I'm not sure which way to go. Not a fan of Angle at all except his peak years of 01-03 but Martel lacks depth past his peak.

Re: ROUND 2: Kurt Angle vs Rick Martel

I'm both glad that Angle is winning this and glad that it isn't a blowout. Martel deserves to at least keep it competitive. But, for me, it's Angle all the way. I've been impressed by some Martel but I've always watched my fair share of shows where I totally forgot about his match by the end of it. I firmly disagree with the "Angle was bad" crowd. Maybe it just comes down to my preferences but I never thought Angle was bad at all until at least 2011 or later when he really went off the rails in his life and all the injuries caught up to him in a big way. Angle at his best was all time great level, and for much of his career he was at least still good, until he fell off a cliff with his mobility. His intensity is on another level and I think you have to give it to him for being great against a variety of guys with different styles. He could have a good mat based match with Benoit or Lesnar, he could work a brawl with Triple H or Steve Austin, he could go 100 MPH against Rey Mysterio or AJ Styles, he could stiff it up against Samoa Joe, he could do southern sports entertainment against Jeff Jarrett, he could work the Shawn Michaels epic style. He covered a lot of ground. The dude is one of the all time best in my book.
