Surprisingly tricky because both guys are guys that are difficult to quantify how good their in-ring work is based on how horrible their booking was and how overpushed they were.

I went Cena which I think is probably the right decision. I think the problem Jarrett had wasn't so much that he was overpushed (this was a problem) but that he was pushed in a role he sucked at. Main event heel Jeff Jarrett was a chore to watch even above the awful Cena run in 2004-2005, and even above whatever it is Cena has been doing the last few years. Jarrett was a much much better babyface wrestler, and I even enjoyed his main event face run in TNA in 2008(?). Much like Waltman, I almost feel like Jarrett was a victim of the time and promotion he was in because he was a good worker in a time when workrate meant less than it ever did.

Still this is Cena for me. Higher ceiling and probably higher floor too.

    Surprisingly tricky?

I like Jarrett more than most but he's not close to being on Cena's level.

I can't imagine there's many in the tournament that I'd vote Cena over, but Jarrett ends up being one of them. Jarrett was pretty much never a bad wrestler, but so much of his career was spent being overpushed. Even long before TNA, there was being pushed as the top midcard heel in 1995 WWE when he was just a comedy lowcarder. With how inconsistent Cena is, I don't think he deserves to go far, but I can't say he was ever pushed beyond his level. Although Cena has had plenty of duds, he's also had plenty of classics. Classics that becomes difficult to think of for Jarrett.

Jarrett in Memphis & his babyface run was better than Cena overall but due to his push Cena had more chances for big and emotionally connecting matches. Plus JJ's heel TNA run was completely shit, WAY better as a babyface.

Jarrett is fun. I never see him as a great wrestler though. He had some fun brawls on early TNA that stood out a ton over the rest of what was going on.

Cena definitely had his down periods but his highs outweigh them right now. Cena has definitely got more stand out classics than Jarrett. Most of which he totally rises to the occasion whereas Jeff Jarrett never did.
