How much footage of their US work is out there?

    Ultimo Dragon

The guy had a 2 year run in WCW out of his 30 year career, I am going to say not eligible. You can nominate someone else this go if you wish.

    General observations:

    - I am suprised how high Cesaro and Zayn are seeding. Cesaro as a Top 10 seed is mind-boggling.

    - Also surprised at how high Tito has gone in comparison to others from the 80s

    - Everyone seems to have forgotten how great Homicide was in his prime. I guess a decade of not giving a shit will do that, but it's a real shame as he was a top draw talent

    - Thanks to Brandon for backing me on Necro. That's a small win if he qualifies. Ditto for whoever it was who backed Kingston too.

    - Someone is going to jump on me for this, but some of the women votes feel like such a reach. We did the Best Workers Of The late 2010s poll at the start of the year and none of them (or a lot of these other more recent picks such as PAC, Kyle, Cedric, etc) got anywhere near the top.

    - Dr Death and Terry Gordy somehow haven't got past the first group. Woof. I would have thought their State-side work would have gotten more eyes than Hansen's.

    - Fuji throwing up Hallowickid is my favourite bizarro pick so far

Final batch, not a full list as there's nobody else I can see myself voting for unless they get a very favourable draw.

    Bubba Ray Dudley
    Dean Malenko
    Greg Valetine
    Kevin Owens
    Mark Briscoe
    Matt Sydal
    Paul London
    Psicosis
    Sabu
    Sean Waltman
    Tajiri

Edit: I'm disappointed in the lack of love for James Storm. One of about four people whose TNA career isn't a detriment to stuff like this.

The absolute disrespect that you wouldn't ask the same about Ted DiBiase Sr and Jr.

I'm pretty sure that DiBiase Jr was always announced as 'Ted DiBiase'. I checked a few matches including his WWE debut, a random match in 2009, and another random match in 2011, and they always dropped the "Jr" for the entrance and title cards.

Decent amount for their age, could find a few of their biggest matches in full for them both, Robinson probably a decent AWA lineage but not dozens and dozens or anything like that have survived.

I played a bit free and loose considering Hansen being eligible, because he's much lesser counting only his US stuff. But I will play by the rules and replace him with Dory Funk Jr.

Re: WC's Best NA in-ring worker of all time lockdown boredom killing Tournament!

    - I am suprised how high Cesaro and Zayn are seeding. Cesaro as a Top 10 seed is mind-boggling.

As someone who has organised tournaments like this before, this is totally normal. When you say you want a big field (I used to say 64 but you want 128!) people aren't just going to vote for the top 10 and leave it at that, they'll vote for their mid to low enders as well to fill out the tournament, so you end up voting for people who you know have no right going deep in the tournament. But when you add in recency bias of everyone knows Cesaro is a great wrestler as opposed to not everyone knows Greg Valentine is, that's where you get modern great wrestlers being on everyone's ballots so they end up being high seeds. I wouldn't read into it that Cesaro is going to make the final 8 of this thing based on the nominations.

They could all make my final wave.

    - Someone is going to jump on me for this, but some of the women votes feel like such a reach. We did the Best Workers Of The late 2010s poll at the start of the year and none of them (or a lot of these other more recent picks such as PAC, Kyle, Cedric, etc) got anywhere near the top.
I've only voted for two women and probably won't be voting for anymore, but again, if you want a field of 128 wrestlers I'm not going to agree with 'there are 128 better workers in North American wrestling history than Asuka'. Up to others to argue the case for the women they've voted for though.

    - Dr Death and Terry Gordy somehow haven't got past the first group. Woof. I would have thought their State-side work would have gotten more eyes than Hansen's.
I can only speak for myself, but I'm only voting for people I've actually watched enough of before, which creates a decent pre late 90s blind spot. I know Rick Martel must be great cause of how many people talk highly of him, but I'm not nominating people based on other people's opinions.
