I was getting a little weary of the Marvel TV style by the end of Luke Cage and it's safe to say that Iron Fist well and buried my enjoyment of the universe to that point. I might go back and revisit Punisher sometime since I did love Bernthal in Daredevil but I just couldn't be bothered when it was released.

GLOW is exceptionally good and glad to see it take number one since we all knew Castlevania wasn't gonna. Go watch Castlevania y'all.

I didn’t participate in this because I had only seen two new shows from 2017, GLOW and Punisher. I couldn’t get into Punisher after a few episodes despite loving the character and his arc in Daredevil, but GLOW is fantastic and would have made my list for sure.

I just love the fact that a wrestling based tv show won the best tv show of 2017 on a wrestling forum. Poetic.

There's always been a huge wrestling slant on these lists. I'm pretty sure Nitro could have beaten The Wire if they'd come out the same year. No surprise it's the one guaranteed common interest of everyone submitting a list.

I didn’t manage to get a list in for this one but GLOW and Punisher would have been my #1 and #2 anyway, so it wouldn’t have changed the winner or the runner up.

I’m surprised that Iron First did so well, and even beat the Defenders. The second season showed some more promise but the first just wasn’t enjoyable at all for me and I only dragged myself through it because of how it might feed into the others. I think the issue was that Danny lacks the relatability of the other leads so it was harder to connect and empathise with him.
