Raw WWE Monday Night Raw Live Discussion - April 6, 2020

    Monday Night Raw Preview
    April 6, 2020

What's next for WWE Champion Drew McIntyre?

It took him 19 years, but Drew McIntyre is finally WWE Champion, having defeated Brock Lesnar to fulfill the original “prophecy” Mr. McMahon laid forth upon his arrival in WWE. With the title in his hands, McIntyre faces the grueling challenge of keeping it. Where does one go once they achieve their destiny? We’re about to find out.

Tune in to Monday Night Raw at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Where does Edge go from here?

Will Baszler make another play for Lynch's title?

Appropriately enough for The Queen of Spades, Shayna Baszler went all-in against Becky Lynch, running through the entire Raw roster en route to a Raw Women’s Title bout that ended in a somewhat shocking victory for The Man. Baszler looked utterly distraught following her loss, while Lynch wasted no time celebrating on social media. The question now is whether Baszler decides to make another play for Lynch’s title — and, if not, who is left for The Man to beat?

Did Kevin Owens end Seth Rollins' crusade?

Kevin Owens did just what he said he was going to do and took his first WrestleMania moment from Seth Rollins, leaping off the giant WrestleMania sign to shatter the sternum of The Monday Night Messiah. That puts Rollins at a rare disadvantage coming out of The Showcase of the Immortals — something he’s unlikely to take lying down as he attempts to launch the next phase of his mission as self-styled savior. Owens, of course, was hardly alone in his defiance of Rollins’ crusade; will his win embolden his allies to rejoin the fight? Or will Rollins roar back with a vengeance?

This show reeks of "go out there and fill as many segments as you can." it's rough.

McIntyre beat Brock Lesnar and Big Show on the same night?

Not bad. Pointless match but at least that's something to brag about. Not gonna complain about Drew looking super strong.

Glad Show only took one claymore. It's wwe, so I didn't know what to expect (in an obvious negative way).

I mean it wasn't any good, but at least there's a silver lining.

Obviously not their fault, but I just saw last year's thread of Raw after Mania compared to this one: 222 posts to (as of this one) 6.

Really hope this coronavirus pandemic ends soon. Raw after Mania is one of my favorite times of the WWE calendar and we knew there wouldn't be any huge surprises or moments. We got Nia Jax back.

Clear to see the excitement because of the circumstances is nonexistent for the weekly product, even if Mania seemed to muster a little. Can't wait to see the ratings for Raw.

And in particular about Raw, nothing special. Interesting they did the McIntyre angle "after WrestleMania" rather than Big Show challenging McIntyre on Raw. Also, Big Show playing a heel the day of his Netflix show releasing? Oh how cute. Just another way NOT to take his turn seriously. lol
