Wrestlemania Week 2020 Indie Show Catch-All Thread

Same as last year, thought we could use a thread to put all the news about mania weekend on the indies in here.

My early interest in the weekend is in Bloodsport that so far have announced Josh Barnett Vs Jon Moxley and Minoru Suzuki Vs Chris Dickinson. Really happy to see Moxley has agreed to work Bloodsport again after injury ruled him out last time.

Apparently the venues people are running this year are closer together than they were in New York, which worries me for how many wrestlers are going to do 3-4 shows a day, grab the money and put in poor performances because they're exhausted.

I'm gonna try to catch everything worthwhile, hopefully ECCW can get a show here since their stock has been rising

Interested in seeing who gets booked Impact Wrestlings "TNA" show at Wrestlecon. Can't imagine them getting WWE talent, so that's pretty much the bulk of main guys (Jarrett, AJ, Joe, Roode) gone.

Well so far I've heard Eddie Edwards float the idea of a Wolves reunion with Davey and I also saw Bully Ray tweet at Sami Callihan, suggesting he's down to have a match. I'd love to see both of those things happen.

I'd also like to think they could bring in guys like James Storm and Homicide from NWA. Maybe dig up their old partners. Maybe try to get Low Ki from MLW?

Overall I don't expect that many returns honestly. Like you said, most of the people worth getting are in WWE and that includes people who are agenting now like Abyss, Sonjay Dutt and Jeremy Borash.

Honestly if we just get TNA branding, a six sided ring and (though it's a long shot) the reunion of Mike Tenay and Don West... I'll be happy.

We need Scott Steiner cutting a promo there or the show will be a fucking waste

Alex Shelley is working Joey Janela's spring break. Maybe he'd do the TNA show.

D'Lo is unexciting, but was a big part of early TNA so at least makes sense.

    Fuck Ken Anderson.

Thought I would compile a list of what's been announced so far! Makabe vs. Yehi will be fucking awesome, that's a match I'm super excited for.

GCW running WrestleMania Week once again. Bless them. Glad they are helping Pizza Party this year. They had a very underrated card last year with Makabe vs Yehi on top, so a rematch will be neat as well as some extra names attached.

Marty Scurll just showed up at NJPW's US tour to challenge Jay White for a match at Supercard of Honor.

I've zero interest in seeing that, but it'll be a popular match with some sections of fans.

That's a huge score for Bloodsport as well as a great stage for Mox to show what he's got.

Jay White vs. Marty Scurll sounds average. Could definitely be great but it could be a bore too. We'll see.

As for Impact... Chris Harris and Chris Sabin were announced for the TNA throwback show today. So we're surely getting AMW, but are we gonna get MCMG?
