    Yep, LIJ win.

Can they not even throw us the Zack and Suzuki bone? This looks thoroughly unwatchable.

The best part of these tours are usually the Young Lion matches in the undercard. Totally expect the same.

Nah, the tag division is the most common criticism NJPW gets.

Not terrible, it's just lacking in true tag teams. GOD and SANADA & EVIL are the only teams that regularly work the tag division that come to mind. The Tag League isn't a great representation of it because most of these teams are make shift and given it's just before Wrestle Kingdom, wrestlers tend to be safe and unwilling to go all out.

With that being said, Taichi & ZSJ vs Suzuki & Archer was very good.

Re: NJPW World Tag League 2019

I know I'm the resident SANADA fan boy but I'm really digging SANADA in some of these matches. He completely overshadows EVIL, who isn't bad at all, in both star power and effort. He is the focal points of the match and he delivers, fully. He had some great exchanges with ZSJ in the Suzuki-Gun match on the 28th. I think it's a shoo in that SANADA and EVIL are winning, if not definite top 2.

Don’t they also seem to be setting up ZSJ/Sanada for the British title?

It looks like it. I think that match is confirmed for a Rev Pro show but I'm not sure if that's true or just speculation for one of the Dome show.

Re: NJPW World Tag League 2019

Interesting outcomes could potentially happen tomorrow.

Finlay and Juice winning would be the most interesting outcome because they are a fresh team in the division and would give them a push (outside of the US title in Juice's case)

Re: NJPW World Tag League 2019

I've totally overlooked that FinJuice could win this to free up Sanada for Zack and then EVIL joins Shingo and Bushi to be a random 3 team for the NEVER trios titles. I mean, what is Shingo going to do at the dome otherwise?

Sadly, I can see him doing nothing. Maybe, given it's a two day thing he'll have a match against one of the older guys. Nagata would be good, similar to the Kojima match. But who knows.

Re: NJPW World Tag League 2019

An interesting final show. The finals itself was pretty good. Finlay and Juice getting the win is a shock considering SANADA and EVIL have been the almost guaranteed winners for a few years now. Give Finlay and Juice the title, freshen up the tag scene.

Dragon Lee returned as Ryu Lee and offered to be one of Liger's last opponents. Liger also hinted at Hiromu Takahashi.

Ibushi laid Okada out with the briefcase and then attacked him again when he tried to go backstage. A bit heelish from Ibushi but Okada also was a big heel during the match as well. Wonder what that's heading to.
And Jon Moxley appeared, attacked both Suzuki and Lance Archer and asked for a Texas Deathmatch at Wrestle Kingdom for the US title.

    Pretty eventful show.

Love that FinJuice won, hope they make an effort with them in 2020 to give the tag division something.
