    • Ran a draw on 4th & 9
    • Got a 1st & Goal inside LAR’s 5-yard line while down seven
    • Had all three timeouts
    • Did not run the ball once.

    Freddie the HC, folks.
    Everything will surely be alright.

I remember saying somewhere that the Bills were gonna be the Buccaneers of this season. In that they start off going like 5-0 and then finish for a solid 8-8 season.

The month of September is like the month of April in baseball. So many teams look good and then by the end of the season fall apart.Like wise my Steelers have had plenty of Septembers where they look rough only to turn it around. Hoping this is another one but if we start off 0-4 then I might be out of optimism.

I mean, I personally don't see Rudolph as being the answer. I think it might be a time to look towards drafting a QB in the first round in 2020 for you guys.

It’ll be pretty hard to do that given they traded their first round pick for Minkah Fitzpatrick.

That's really clever. Did you come up with that on your own?

To pretend you were serious for a minute, we have only seen a small sample size of what he can do. I'd give him time.

I like spending the first round pick of Fitzpatrick. He's only 22, and he's already made a huge difference in the secondary, which was by far out weakest position even with Ben out.

says the guy whose team is 0-3 and James Connor isn't looking very great but, that said I think Pitt has something in Rudolph

Minkah is good, forgot about that.

Time will tell on Rudolph, I guess. But one things for sure, James Conner can't hold onto a football to save his life.

He can’t hold on to a football to save his life but he’s only fumbled once in the first three games. You’d be better off saying that about Chris Carson.

There were 4 last year, don't forget that, but compared to some other RB's in history...he's fine. Joe Cribbs, Eric Dickerson and Terry Metcalf had fumbling problems, they were also Pro Bowlers, but those guys fumbled and got over it. Conner is fine and completely sure-handed in comparison.

1 in 3 games, and also only 99 yards in 3 games. And in a key moment, that pretty much sealed the game. And it was also the issue they complained about most for him last year, and in college. That's an issue. No matter how you cut it, he's got an issue with ball security.

    Yes, Chris Carson sucks.
    Everything will surely be alright.

Just want to say that 1 in 3 games would average out to just over 5 in a season. How many did Ezekiel Elliot have last year?

The point is, he can hang on to the ball just fine. You saying differently doesn’t make it so. He’s certainly not perfect, but wording it the way you did was slightly over dramatic.

An awful lot of people really beg to differ about his ball handling, dude. As in, it's been a big discussion recently about his ball handling capabilities. Is this something you aren't aware of? It was talked about as an issue all last year as one of his issues to work on, and already this year.

Elliott had too many last year, but only lost 1. Also had significantly better numbers all around.
    Everything will surely be alright.

Those articles are all well and good, but I'm really just trying to focus on the ridiculous exaggeration you made when you said he can't hold on to the ball to save his life. Can you not see how that may come across a little smart alecky? I realize you generally try to come across as a know it all around these parts, but it doesn't really mean you should be allowed to make statements that come across as fact. He's young. He can certainly improve specific areas of his game. As far as you're concerned, he's already been written off. It's kind of the same attitude you have towards Jimmy G.

    Sure, I can see that.

Jimmy G is unproven and hit or miss. He got a lot more money and acclaim than he's worth, and that's still the case. I'll admit when I'm wrong. I said I needed to see more to be sold on Mahomes. I saw more, and I'm sold on Mahomes. Big time, probably the best QB in the league right now. I'd say him or Russ.

I said the biggest issue with James Conner is that he has fumble issues, and that I hoped he worked on that in the off season. I said I liked his work ethic and drama free attitude, unlike Leveon. I still like that, but costing the team the game with a fumble this year isn't exactly going to sell many people worried about his fumbling issues.
    Everything will surely be alright.

Yep. West might have an argument too if the Cardinals can start playing good football by the end of the year, but right now it's gotta be the North. The whole division has two losses right now, and they're both to the Packers.

    I agree.

I actually think Cardinals, if they can build a good O-Line going forward, can be a real contender. I don't see this happening for a year or two, but I think that Kyler, Kliff, and crew can be a really great team.

In a move that makes no sense to me, The Steelers are finalizing a trade with Seattle for TE Nick Vannett.

    Guess TE was a priority.
