The guitar sounds so nice and apperently Mikk and myself got same taste :P Nina Strauss I havent heard enough of her to say either way but she rocked at Wrestlemania and she is super cute.

I liked Orianthi at the beginning but that album she did with Richie Sambora just kinda soured me to be honest. And I don't believe I've heard Nina Strauss.

Re: WC's Be All...End All...No Holds Barred... Favorite Guitarist List

Let's continue our trip through guitarist heaven with our 14 & 15 pointers:

    14 Pointers:

    Shaun Morgan - Seether (OMB)

    Spoiler:

Glenn Tipton - Judas Priest (Ms Flock)

    Spoiler:

James Honeyman-Scott - The Pretenders (Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

Ben Gibbard - Death Cab for Cutie (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

    15 Pointers:

    Dan Jacobs - Atreyu (OMB)

    Spoiler:

Justin Hayward - Moody Blues (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

Don't know much about Seether, but liked what I heard. The other half of Judas Priest with Tipton, such a good duo. James Honeyman-Scott was so good in such a short time period. I think the Pretenders would've been more first two albums throughout their career, than what they'd go on to become. That debut album is killer. Ben Gibbard doesn't do anything for me. Dan Jacobs sounds like he should be in a different band. Justin Hayward is a nice call, he replaced Denny Laine and really made the Moodies go.

    Spoiler:

Ricky Skaggs - Solo (Ms Flock)
    rsk

    Spoiler:

    17 Pointer:

Little Steven Van Zandt - E. Street Band/Disciples of Soul (Baloocha)

Dave Sabo - Skid Row (Ms Flock)
    davethesnakesabo400

    Spoiler:

Farin Urlaub - Farin Urlaub Racing Team (Baloocha)
    fu

    Spoiler:

Roy Orbison fit all his songs with his guitar work. If you know who everyone in that video is, they were all paying tribute to him that night. Such an influence. Ricky Skaggs is a superb picker, because he can play anything with strings. Little Steven prefers the rhythm parts for The Boss, but he does have some solo stuff. The Edge has more effects pedals than Guitar Center, but he makes them work. Dave Sabo is the underrated guitarist from Skid Row, Scotti Hill usually gets the love, because he's most known for all the famous solos. Had no idea who Farin Urlaub was, but pretty interesting stuff.

    200px-Fall-Out-Boy-Rock-im-Park-2014-by-2eight-3-SC9657

    Spoiler:

I like Slayer, but always liked Jeff more than Kerry. Elliot Easton and Andy Summers do so much with so little. Joe Trohman, I never paid much attention to Fall Out Boy.

Andy Summers was almost number 50 on my list. He's a good guitarist for sure. Nick loved Kerry King ans Slayer a lot I never quite got into them.

    The 22 and 23 pointers:

    22 Pointers:

    Rivers Cuomo - Weezer (OMB)
    rc

    Spoiler:

Jack Black - Tenacious D (Baloocha)
    big-jack-black

    Spoiler:

Warren DeMartini - Ratt (Ms Flock/Mister Miracle)
    Warren-De-Martini-photo-e1443186398214

    Spoiler:

    23 Pointers:

Jimme Vaughan - Fabulous Thunderbirds/Solo (Ms Flock)

    jv

    Spoiler:

Gary Kemp - Spandau Ballet (Baloocha)
    Garykemp

    Spoiler:

I love Weezer, Rivers is underrated in my opinion, he's quite good. Jack Black is a fun strummer. Warren DeMartini made Ratt, it's a shame that band is in a shambles. Jimmie Vaughan is super good, just not as flashy as his younger brother. Gary Kemp is a very good player, but the sax guy got all the solos.

Re: WC's Be All...End All...No Holds Barred... Favorite Guitarist List

Next up we crack the Top 100 with the 24, 25 and 26 Pointers:

    24 Pointer:

(100th) Leonard Cohen - Solo (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

    25 Pointer:

    (99th) Tom Petty - Heartbreakers/Travelling Wilburys/Solo

    Spoiler:

    26 Pointers:

(Tied 98th) Tom DeLonge - Blink -182/Box Car Racer (OMB)

    Spoiler:

(Tied 98th) Bruce Kulick - KISS/Grand Funk Railroad (Ms Flock)

    Spoiler:

(Tied 98th) Chris Cheney - The Living End (Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

I never look at Leonard Cohen as a guitar player, but he is quite good. Tom Petty was a phenomenal rhythm player. Tom DeLonge is excellent for what he does. Bruce Kulick can fit in anywhere and with any band. Chris Cheney is an old friend from a criminally overlooked band, The Living End. They did well in their native Australia, but should've been big everywhere.

Man I actually think Tom's best work is in Angels and Airwaves. Incredibly mature stuff and so much more captivating than Blink. Definitely would've plugged him on a list if I did one.

Re: WC's Be All...End All...No Holds Barred... Favorite Guitarist List

We continue on with the 97th and 96th Places on our countdown:

    Tied for 97th:

27 Points John Mayer - solo/Dead & Company (OMB, Mister Miracle)
    john-mayer-WEB

    Spoiler:

    27 Points Todd Rundgren - Nazz/Utopia/Solo (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

    27 Points - Eddie Vedder - Pearl Jam/Solo (OMB)
    eddie-vedder2-by-karen-loria

    Spoiler:

    27 Points - D. Boon - Minutemen (Mister Miracle)
    big-d-boon

    Spoiler:

    Tied for 96th:

29 Points - Brad Gillis - Night Ranger/Ozzy (Ms Flock)
    Brad-Gillis-Live

    Spoiler:

    29 Points - Steve Howe - Yes/Asia (Mister Miracle)
    sh

    Spoiler:

John Mayer is so confusing to me. He's one of the best guitarists I've ever seen, but his solo music is horrible. That said when he plays together with Dead & Co. or his trio and isn't playing pop BS, he's one of the best to pick up the instrument (exit soap box). I love Eddie Vedder, he's a good guitar player for a singer. Todd Rundgren is a genius, problem is, he knows it. Not the nicest guy in music, but far too talented to ignore. D. Boon is the definition of tragedy, just so talented and young when the accident happened. Brad Gillis is great, I always felt bad for Jeff Watson, who is also great, but Night Ranger is Brad's band. Steve Howe plays 1,000 note solos or so it sounds, but phenomenal, he's turned into the Crypt Keeper in his later years.

Re: WC's Be All...End All...No Holds Barred... Favorite Guitarist List

Today we get to 95th, 94th and 93rd placed guitarists:

    Tied for 95th (30 Points):

Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman - Offspring (Baloocha)

    noodles

    Spoiler:

Matthias Jabs - The Scorpions (Mister Miracle)
    mj

    Spoiler:

    94th Place (31 Points):

Wayne Sermon - Imagine Dragons (Baloocha
    )
    ws

    Spoiler:

Tied for 93rd Place (32 Points):

Jinxx - Black Veiled Brides (Baloocha)

    jinxx

    Spoiler:

Jonny Lang - Solo (Ms Flock)
    lang142

    Spoiler:

Robin Trower - Procol Harum/Robin Trower Band (Mister Miracle)
    robin-t

    Spoiler:

I like Kevin or Noodles, he's a real good guy and super guitarist. They were real nice to us. Matthias Jabs is the "other guy" in The Scorpions. Great soloist. Don't know much about Wayne Sermon or Jinxx. Jonny Lang and Robin Trower are both teenage prodigies, Lang starting professional at age 14 and Trower at 17. Trower is vastly underrated, but nearly took over being "the guy" when Clapton, Beck and Page had down periods in the 70's.

Tied for 92nd Place (33 Points):

    Spoiler:

Tied for 91st Place (34 Points):

    Chris Rea - Solo (Baloocha)

    big-chris-rea

    Spoiler:

John Norum - Europe (Ms Flock)
    big-john-norum

    Spoiler:

Ray Toro - My Chemical Romance (OMB, Baloocha)
    rt

    Spoiler:

Gary Richrath - REO Speedwagon (Mister Miracle)
    gr

    Spoiler:

John Sykes, the original guitarist behind that massive Whitesnake album in 1987, when a lot of you were babies or not born yet. Hard to find good stuff from Michael Sweet, since he's mainly the lead singer. Always heard the name Chris Rea, but didn't know much about him. John Norum is underrated, but had the hits with Europe. Don't know much about Ray Toro. Gary Richrath left a massive band (at the time) like REO Speedwagon, because they were going to play more ballads. He could rock.

Tied for 90th Place (35 Points):

Billie Joe Armstrong - Green Day (OMB)

    bja

    Spoiler:

Doug Aldrich - Lion/Hurricane/Whitesnake (Ms Flock)
    da

    Spoiler:

Tied for 89th Place (36 Points):

    Amy MacDonald - Solo (Baloocha)

    am

    Spoiler:

    Elvis - Solo (OMB)
    elvis

    Spoiler:

Tied for 88th Place (37 Points):

    Joni Mitchell - Solo (OMB)

    joni-mitchell-list

    Spoiler:

    Linde Lindstrom - HIM (Baloocha)
    ll

    Spoiler:

Billie Joe is a really good songwriter and great guitarist for what they do. Doug Aldrich is a well traveled guitarist. I don't really know Amy MacDonald or Linde Lindstrom. Elvis played a little when he was younger, then as a novelty later on. Joni Mitchell is an excellent player, great singer-songwriter.

    Today we're up to numbers 87 & 86:

    Tied for 87th (38 Points):

    John Kay - Steppenwolf (Baloocha)
    jk

    Spoiler:

Roy Clark - Solo (Ms Flock)
    rcl

    Spoiler:

    Tied for 86th (39 Points):

    Kurt Cobain -Nirvana (Baloocha)

    kc

    Spoiler:

Corey Taylor - Slipknot/Stone Sour (OMB)
    ct

    Spoiler:

Jim Heath - Reverend Horton Heat (Mister Miracle)
    Rev

    Spoiler:

I know John Kay as just the singer for Steppenwolf, but found some footage of him playing. Roy Clark was overlooked, because he was country and comedic, but he could flat out play. Kurt was Kurt, he could play okay, but was more looked at for his overall impact in music. Corey Taylor is very talented. Jim Heath and I go back almost 20 yrs, one of the first shows the band played was with the Reverend Horton Heat, amazing player.

    Today is 85 - 82:

    Spoiler:

    84th Place (41 Points):

Tommy Shaw - Styx/Damn Yankees (Ms Flock, Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

    83rd Place (42 Points):

Joan Jett - The Runaways/Solo (HoHo, Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

    Tied for 82nd (43 Points):

Steve Clark - Def Leppard (Ms Flock)

    Spoiler:

Trey Anastasio - Phish/Oysterhead/Solo (Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

Peter Buck - R.E.M. (Mister Miracle, Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

Michael Schenker - Scorpions/UFO/MSG/Contraband (Mister Miracle, Ms Flock, Mikk)
    michael-schenker-interview-2017

    Spoiler:

I've seen Leo's work on You Tube and he's super talented. Tommy Shaw's been doing it a long time and can write a great rock song. Joan Jett was the most talented in the Runaways and it shows. Always liked Steve Clark, but his boozy antics got old for me. I like Trey and Phish, but I don't always want to listen to 20 minute songs. Peter Buck could barely play when R.E.M. started and he turned himself into an excellent player. Love Michael Schenker, he just never stayed anywhere for too long.

    Today we have 81-79:

    Tied for 81st (44 Points):

    Dion - Solo (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

Phil Collen - Def Leppard (Ms Flock)

    Spoiler:

    Tied for 80th (45 Points):

    Stephen Carpenter - Deftones (Baloocha)

    Spoiler:

Dave Grohl - Foo Fighters (OMB)

    Spoiler:

Rik Emmett - Triumph (Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

    79th Place (46 Points):

Dave Murray - Iron Maiden (Mister Miracle)

    Spoiler:

Loved Dion, didn't know he played guitar. Phil is a great counter to Steve Clark. Dave Grohl is the rhythm guitarist in the Foo's, but a great songwriter. I'm a big fan of Rik Emmett, Triumph are that other hard rock trio from Canada. I know a little about Stephen Carpenter, I know he's really good. Dave Murray has been doing it forever.
