WC's Fave Five Al Pacino Movies~!

Alright folks, we're back with another awesome list in our ongoing series of Fave Five's. This time around, we'll be celebrating the recent 79th birthday of Mr. Al Pacino, an actor I'm sure we're all familiar with. Most of you know how this goes but if you've never done it before, it's pretty simple. All you've got to do to participate is PM me a list of your five favourite Al Pacino movies (with 1 being your top choice) by no later than Tuesday, May 7th at 9AM EST. I'll tally up the votes immediately after and we'll begin our countdown. Here's a list of Al Pacino movies to get you started...

It suddenly makes me wish for a Heat musical though.

Actually, I’m going to save the musicals topic for when the Elton John biopic comes out at the end of the month.

This is probably a wasted plea but I encourage anyone who hasn't seen Scarecrow to give it a watch before sending their lists in, please and thanks

I've already sent my list but I'll be checking it out soon as I love both Pacino and Hackman.

Just a reminder that all lists are due by Tuesday, May 7th at 9AM EST. Things are extremely tight at the top, with just 10 points separating the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place movies. Remember folks, YOUR vote could determine the final placements, so keep 'em coming~!

Re: WC's Fave Five Al Pacino Movies~!

Alright folks, all your lists are in and it's time to get this thing started with our 10 and 20 pointers...

15T. ...And Justice For All - 10 Points (Mister Miracle #5)

    15T. Dick Tracy - 10 Points (Fuji #5)

    15T. Sea of Love - 10 Points (Booty #5)

15T. Two for the Money - 10 Points (Jimmy King #5)

    14T. 88 Minutes - 20 Points (OMB #4)

    14T. The Panic in Needle Park - 20 Points (BD22 #5, Necro #5)

As with a lot of these countdowns, I had to vote for a movie that I knew nobody else was going to represent. Dick Tracy has always been a personal fave of mine even though I know it's not all that great. There's just something about it that appeals to me and Pacino's totally over the top performance as Big Boy Caprice is certainly a part of that. Sea of Love was one of my final cuts so thanks to Booty for getting it a spot. I watched it earlier this year and it held up nicely so if you've never seen it I'd say it's well worth checking out. Justice and Panic in Needle Park are both great shouts as well, making this a solid start to the list.

Next up, just four more before we reach our top ten~!

I haven’t seen Two for the Money in long time but I remember enjoying it, and enjoying Pacino’s performance in the movie.

Out of the others I think I’ve seen Dick Tracy but it’s been so long so I can’t recall anything about it.
