I read their book. Amazing read. Finished it in like 3 days. The drummers chapters were the best part. I also loved the fact they had past members have a few chapters too.

Got a list in. This was a very tough year so I went with the 5 albums I still listen to the most.

Fantastic turnout so far, there's still a couple of days left to make a list if there is anyone trying to decide.

The countdown will be starting shortly, I got a little delayed due to a sudden death in my group of friends. Sorry for the delay. Thanks

    Re: WC's Fave Five Albums - 1991

    Starting with the 10 Pointers:

Torfrock - Beinhart - gert das ab hier (Baloocha #5)

    Spoiler:

Massive Attack - Blue Lines (Wolf Beast #5)

    Spoiler:

Apocalypse 91 - The Enemy Strikes Back - Public Enemy (The EC #5)

    Spoiler:

I Wish My Brother George Was Here - Del the Funky Homosapien (Fuji Vice #5)

    Spoiler:

    Soar - Samiam (indyfan #5)

    Spoiler:

Joyride - Roxette (Ms Flock #5)

    Spoiler:

To say we started off eclectic would be an understatement. I think this sets a precedent for most of our list. I like a lot of these bands, but the only album that was a possibility for my list was the Public Enemy album. I'll have to say Torfrock is catchy, I have no idea what they're saying, but the music is good.

    Re: WC's Fave Five Albums - 1991

I had a feeling id be the only one voting for Samiam. Not sure if anyone even knows who they are besides me.

Im surprised that no one else voted for Public Enemy

That Roxette album is awesome, great shout there. I was going to vote for PE but I knew Del wasn’t going to get any love and that album is hype.

    Re: WC's Fave Five Albums - 1991

We'll keep the list moving with our 20 pointers:

Guns N' Roses - Use Your Illusion II (Creeping Death #4)

    Spoiler:

Big Audio Dynamite II - The Globe (Mister Miracle #4)

    Spoiler:

    U2 - Achtung Baby (Wolf Beast #4)

    Spoiler:

Primus - Sailing the Seas of Cheese (Jake Your Booty #4)

    Spoiler:

Queen - Innuendo (Ms Flock #4)

    Spoiler:

Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog (Silk #4)

    Spoiler:

Grateful Dead - One From the Vault (Baloocha #4)

    Spoiler:

Another great batch of albums, shows you how hard this year is. If Use Your Illusion was just one album it'd be great, but we got two. The second one is very strong, great pick there by CD. Love the Temple of the Dog album, have great memories of it. The album that showed the world how much Primus Sucks! I went with B.A.D. II which highlights Mick Jones' pop sensibilities, he wanted to be the rock star and it shows. Innuendo is such a sad album for me, it's good, just marks the end for Freddie. Great Dead live set, but not the biggest fan of that U2 album.

I considered the Primus and Temple of the Dog albums for my list so good on Booty and Silk to show them love.

Big fan of Massive Attack, that album was on my shortlist.

Temple of the Dog obviously rules. Cornell's one of my favorite singers ever so you can always expect me to throw some votes at whatever he's doing.

Been meaning to listen to more Del for a minute so I'll take my good buddy Fuji's rec on that one and dig into it.

Never been hot on GnR and U2, but certainly can't deny the legacy of the latter album in particular.

    Re: WC's Fave Five Albums - 1991

Primus was my 6 as well but I’m actually more stoked about someone else voting for my number 4. Can’t wait to see who it was. Temple of the Dog transcends countdowns so I didn’t bother listing its greatness.
