The League Life Part III: A NBA2k19 Tale (The Sinister Six)

    • Looking for anyone interested to put together a character for this project in way to get the community involved with the creation of it, got this idea while watching the 2019 Duke Blue Devils and was searching for another angle to approach this NBA 2k League life series that I have been doing through out the years. I have a spot open for 5 characters (First come first serve) to fill out the roles needed for the project and if they don't fill up, I'll do it myself. The way I code the project should be close to the same way I did the last one but might be doing yearly recaps.

This is the tale of Sinister Six, six of the top ten college recruit finding themselves together playing for the same College program. Putting the together arguably the best collegiate roster ever assembled to challenge the likes of the Fab 5 of Michigan, but instead of 5 freshmen, The Sinister Six have six of the greatest talent to ever come out of high school to play for the ----- University. Can they be stopped? What future do they have in not only the collegiate level but the pros? But most importantly the question is....

    Who are the Sinister Six?

    Creation notes

    1. Positions doesn't matter me.
    2. NBA Legends can be used for Player DNA as long as they are in NBA 2k19
    3. Can't use the same Player DNA as someone else. Those are also first come first serve
    4. I will be taking the control of how the player looks.

Giving you an interesting player DNA to go with. I know youre deciding the look but nevertheless, if you can do a light skin guy (think Melo) with cornrows or an afro or dreads, that'd be awesome. Tons of facial hair if you feel like it too. Iverson-style swag.

    Feel free to ignore that.

    Love you Willy.

    We. Are. The. Sinister. Six

    ______________________________

    LeSnow
is a 3pt specialist guard who some scouts believe compares favorably with Steph Curry, while others see that to be a stretch. LeSnow can shoot the ball for sure and it is that lead his high school to back to back state titles, now he finds himself at UCLA for a program starving for a national title and with the top recruit in the country landing with UCLA Bruins but LeSnow isn't the only big time recruit to find themselves at UCLA but he is sure the one with most hype around his name.

    Wolf Lemon Jr
, the top center out of the recruit class. A player who models his game after the past overall number pick Ben Simmons, Lemon Jr with his handles and moves which is shocking for a player his height while a jump shot is something he lacks, he can be reliable from the mid range. Lemon Jr from Orlando Florida was slated to attend Florida State but shocked everyone when he revealed that would be attending University of California, Los Angeles.
UCLA Bruins pulling another major recruit and put together the plan of assembling the best freshmen class possible.

Happy Diamantopolous. The top small forward in the recruit class. The top defender, known to be a straight lock down defender and a nightmare for any offense and as well pretty shabby on the offense end. UCLA Bruins pulling in the 2nd recruit in the class and bringing Happy over to their program. The most heavily recruited player in the class, no one really knew where he would land and which college program would be the one to bring Happy over to their team and now The Bruins have that defensive anchor needed to make a run for the NCAA title.

    Willis Grayson
without a doubt the most athletic player in the class, Willis Grayson coming from the same High School team as LeSnow and apart of the state of California 2x championship team. Grayson the ultimate utility tool as Grayson can play any position from point guard to the small forward at 6'9. Once LeSnow made it official that he was attending UCLA in the fall, it wasn't short after that Willis Grayson announced the same. Grayson being a player who definitely looks to play above the rim as The
UCLA Bruins add another sure future NBA draft pick to their program.

    Joey Dexxon
, the 3rd highest point guard in the class. While not the fastest point guard in the class, Dexxon one of the most solid point guards and was one of the last few top recruits to make up their minds on where they will be attending college. Dexxon the well rounded guard decided to take his talents to the
UCLA Bruins. To join up with the likes LeSnow, Lemon Jr, Grayson, and Diamantopolous at the school and with another solid guard on the roster, this will surely make the Bruins even more dangerous.

Tad Grosicki, from Las Vegas, the last signing Grosicki who scouting report has him as one of the hardest workers on the court, never giving up on a play. The
UCLA Bruins needing a player like him, as a no nonsense kind of player. While he isn't as full of highlights, to have a player on your team like Grosicki is key to have on the bench for a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

He actually looks a lot more like LiAngelo Ball than Kawhi Leonard, imo. Good first post. Interested in seeing how the UCLA season turns out. I'm sure it'll make me sad there's no NCAA College Basketball game ;(

    The Marathon Continues

    The.Sinister.Six

    Ten Games IN!

The highly anticipated season for the UCLA Bruins with the Sinister Six, the top six freshmen recruit class on one team. With Jon LeSnow, Willis Grayson, Joey Dexxon, Wolf Lemon Jr, Happy Diamantopolous and Tad Grosicki. The entire school buzzing at a real shot at the NCAA title. That is really on the mind of all at UCLA and with this kind of young talent on the roster, it really has a championship or bust vibe all over the campus.

And the opening night game of the season was nothing short of exciting with the Sinister Six crashing all over the court with a 88-70 win over the Oregon Ducks. Behind a massive scoring input from Jon LeSnow as he drained down with six three pointers, The Ducks did not stand a chance and got wiped off the floor by The Bruins as LeSnow, Grayson and Lemon Jr were the driving force in the win on the opening night while Happy, Dexxon and Tad had more of a quiet night.

Next game against The Cincinnati Bearcats and another victory for the Bruins as Jon LeSnow with 19 pts and Willis Grayson with 19 pts as Lemon Jr with 12 and Happy with 10 pts as the Bruins stormed over the Bearcats 82 - 45 as the Bruins show cased their stingy defense clamped down on the Bearcats offense.

The 3rd game of the season, The Bruins against showed their power on the defense end as they clamped down on the Tennessee Volunteers and defeat them 81-66. Behind Willis Grayson 19 pts, LeSnow 13 pts and Happy 12 pts. The Bruins showcasing the best defense in the nation.

A 70-47 victory against the Virginia Cavilers as Lemon Jr with 16 pts as he lead the way for the Bruins behind the stingy defense which just keep Virginia to just 47 pts.

The Bruins run through the Villanova Wildcats 80-37, as 15 pts from Lemon Jr was the scoring ammo needed to drop the Wildcats as Dexxon, Happy, LeSnow and Grayson chimmed in with 10 pts to put the opposition away and give the Bruins another on the season.

Next up was the Gonzaga Bulldogs, behind 22 from Jon LeSnow and 13 pts from Willis Grayson and the again the Bruins defense holding the Bulldogs to 39 as the put together 73 and showcased why they are the most feared defense in the nation.

The Bruins remaining untouchable as they take down the Indiana Hoosiers, 86-67 as Willis Grayson 18 pts and
Happy Diamantopolous with 15 pts and the defense putting works on the Indiana offense as they cruise to another victory.

A battle for LA, UCLA Bruins took down the USC Trojans, 77 to 66 as Grayson stepped up with 22 pts as it was back and forth game with the Trojans to put the game away and seal the victory for UCLA and remain unbeaten on the season.

Next up was ST Johns and they gave the Bruins all they can handle as The Bruins squeezed by St. Johns 65-58 as The Bruins could not get the offense rolling and took LeSnow and Lemon Jr with late game heroics to hit key shots to keep the Bruins unbeaten and rolling through schedule. LeSnow with 12 pts and Lemon Jr with 10 pts. A scare like this can only bring the team together as the season progresses.

The Arkansas Razorbacks fell to the hands of the defense of the Bruins as UCLA easily picks up against The Razorbacks 73-53 as Lemon Jr with 14 pts was more than enough needed to keep The UCLA Bruins unbeaten.

    Cutscene #1
    Victory Lap: Seeing Things Different.

The dorm room of LeSnow and Grayson, four of the Sinister Six are just hanging around playing NBA 2k19. You have Willis Grayson, Jon LeSnow, Happy and Wolf Lemon Jr, as they are just lounging around with nothing to do. Just finished with practice for the day, the four of them find themselves relaxing and enjoying their company as they laugh and joke around.

JON LESNOW: Man, where is Dex and Tad at?

Lemon Jr with a controller in his hand doesn’t bother to look up to reply.

    WOLF LEMON JR:
I think they are studying for something, or whatever, They in the library.

    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS:
Should we be in there as well....

WILLIS GRAYSON: No. We need to be here, well I need to be here giving Wolf this ass beating in NBA 2k19...

    JON LESNOW:
Speaking of Tad, man, he really isn’t getting much playing time.. I kinda...

WILLIS GRAYSON: What, feel bad? That’s his fault, should of went to a different school. But he looks happy in his role, atleast, I think he looks happy. I really don’t look that far down the bench.

    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS:
    That’s fucked up........

Happy says as he busts out in a chuckle.

    WOLF LEMON JR:
Yeah, but, still, maybe he should get more playing time?

WILLIS GRAYSON: Maybe he should earn more playing time. More time for him, means less time for us. And we are undefeated right now, so why fuck anything up? He is fine where is, I mean, he can’t be thinking of entering the draft....

    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS:
    I think he is...

    WILLIS GRAYSON: Yikes. Welp.

Grayson goes back to focusing on playing NBA 2K.

    WOLF LEMON JR:
Whatever, he is a teammate, I wish him the best, he is apart of this team.

    JON LESNOW:
Wolf is right, he is one of us....

WILLIS GRAYSON: Man, I’m just joking. But he is studying right now, so maybe, he thinks the same, that maybe the league might not be in his future.

HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS: But seriously, are we just going to play NBA 2k all night, like what’s the plans for tonight.

WILLIS GRAYSON: I was about to ask you guys the same thing, what are we doing, any parties going on tonight?

    WOLF LEMON JR:
This is UCLA, there is a party somewhere.

And if its like they spoke something into existence. Two college girls walk up to the dorm door.

    COLLEGE GIRL:
What are you guys doing tonight? There is a party tonight at our sorority, you guys should stop by, if you aren’t doing anything.

The four of them look at each other and quickly leap up as they head out as the four members of the Sinister Six look for a good time. As soon as they head out, Joey Dexxon and Tad Grosicki walk up and see the four leave as they have text books in hand. The two decide not to follow as the scene comes to an end.

    Writers notes:
Always meant to get back to this project, just things got in the way. And also the save I had got messed up. Bright side I was able to find the draft year ratings for all characters in the project and now instead of having these players at their NBA ratings, I have them in their college ratings instead which is making the game a lot more fun. This is probably going to be in the same style as my previous League Life installment

    The Marathon Continues

    The.Sinister.Six

    At Seasons End!

The season continues for the UCLA Bruins as they were able to pick up a huge victory against The Kansas Jayhawks. With the Bruins using their stingy defense as a way to stifle the Kansas offense as they were able to drop them in a 68-41 victory. Willis Grayson and Wolf Lemon Jr both with 17 pts followed by Jon LeSnow and Happy with 16 points was enough offense fire power to give the Bruins much needed offense fire power to bring home the victory.

The following game against The Arizona State Sun Devils was a much closer game than expected as the UCLA bruins were only able to skate by with a 81-76 win. Jon LeSnow with the late game heroics to give the Bruins the win as he was able to score 27 points and hit key shots down the stretch. The Bruins were able to escape with the winning streak still alive and still unbeaten on the season.

Next up was the Maryland Terrapins. And another close win for the Bruins. 75-69 as the wear and tear on the Bruins looks to be paying a toll on the team as the spark for the offense to escape with the victory came from no one of the sinister six. As Kris Wilkes lead the team offensively and down the stretch Wolf Jr with huge shots to lead the team to victory. The Bruins remain undefeated but they look to be more beatable as the season progresses.

The next game was more of a dominate performance from the Bruins as they defeat TCU Horned Frogs 87-71. Jon LeSnow with 23 points was the offense power needed to bring in the victory and keep the Bruins unbeaten.

Following game, against the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers was another killer conformance from the Bruins. With 19 pts from LeSnow as that was all pretty much needed with the defense of the Bruins to put the game away early and give the tram another win for the season and keep the unbeaten season alive.

A HUGE MATCH UP! The UCLA Bruins vs The Duke Blue Devils. While huge match up on paper, The Bruins made quick work of Duke 96-65 as The Bruins pretty much made any one but Zion Williamson to try and beat them as they shut out everyone else. Also Jon LeSnow with 27 pts and 7 asts and he was the guiding light for the Bruins behind the shocking blow out victory.

Next up was The Florida Gators as The Bruins make short work with a 81 - 64 victory. Willis Grayson lead the way with 17 pts in the victory as the Gators had no answer for the Bruins for the whole game felt the wrath of a Bruins team getting back in its groove as a team as they remain unbeaten on the season.

The wrath of The Bruins continue as they defeat The Xavier Musketeers 83-56. Once again Willis Grayson was the one leading the offense as his 15 pts was enough to bring home the win. The UCLA Bruins slowly getting back into their groove and remain the number team in the nation by rem4aining unbeaten by showcasing the nations top defense.

Following was the North Carolina Tar Heels and this was a back and forth game was The Bruins was able to sneak away with 70-61 victory. The game came down to the wire as Happy Diamantopoulous hit key shots down the stretch of the final minute for the Bruins to keep their unbeaten season going as this was a tough game and was huge for Happy to step up not only on the defensive end but offensively as well.

The UCLA Bruins resumed his undefeated ways as this time they made short of the Michigan State Spartans. a 79-50 victory as once again The Bruins defense was on display as they just went to task on the Spartans for the entire game as once again Jon LeSnow was the one to lead the way on the offense end and be the scoring needed to give the Bruins the win and winning streak going.

Next was The Michigan Wolverines. And this game was a change as this one was a back and forth contest as The Wolverines gave the undefeated Bruins everything that they can handle but the Bruins found a way to get the win with a 78-69 victory. Willis Grayson with the offense and Happy with the much needed key defensive stops down the stretch were the key moves that gave the Bruins what they needed to get the win and remain undefeated.

The following game was another victory for the Bruins as they defeat The Nevada Wolf Pack 82-72. The score being only a ten point game but it was a late game run for the Wolf Pack as The Bruins looked to almost lose control of the game towards the end as Wolf Lemon Jr was the key source of offense down the stretch to close out the game as he dropped in 20 points to be the leading man for the win.

Next game showcased UCLA Bruins dominance as they wiped the floor with The Clemson Tigers as the beat them 85-66 as Willis Grayson with 23 pts, he lead the way and was just all over the court on both ends with massive slam dunk jams as the crowd was beyond hyped watching their team just take control of the game.

Next brought The Kentucky Wildcats as The Bruins made fast work as they dropped the Wildcats 79-61. Happy Diamantopoulous dropping 20 pts and Grayson right behind him with 19 pts as they were able to clown the hosting Wildcats and keep their winning streak and undefeated season alive as the team was mighty impressive in this win.

Next up the Virginia Tech Hokies as they tried their best to keep up with the Bruins which turned into a pretty high scoring game as Wolf Lemon Jr was the offensive hand behind the ten point win for the Bruins, it was well rounded offensive attack for the Bruins. The undefeated season for the Bruins stands strong as we start to reach the end of the regular season.

A surprising low scoring close game as The Bruins were able to pick up the win against the LSU Tigers with a 61-52 win. Willis Grayson with 18 pts as he was the offensive powerhouse needed to seal the victory for the Bruins and keep them undefeated on the season.

Next up is the Vanderbuilt Commodores and the Bruins were able to sneak by with a 78-69 win. Willis Grayson with 18 pts and LeSnow with 16 pts. It was a close game through out but the Bruins were able to score key buckets in a row to keep them in the driver seat and hold it to the games end and keep them undefeated on the season.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders were up next as they felt the hands of the Bruins defense as they fall to them. Moses Brown from the Bruins was a surprised offensive weapon as he dropped in 21 pts with 9 rebounds as they bounced the Red Raiders out of town and keep the undefeated season alive with one more game left in the regular season.

The final game in the regular season has the Bruins dropping the Iowa State Cyclones. They were able to cap off an undefeated regular season with a 77 -63 win. Grayson and Happy lead the way on offense with 18 pts each as they took control of the game from the start of the second half and never looked back from there as they were able to be the offensive force behind sealing the undefeated regular season.

From there The UCLA Bruins ran through the PAC 10 conference championship and is on route for the overall number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.

    Cutscene #2
    Victory Lap: F#CK! Zion!

After winning the PAC 10 championship the UCLA Bruins are sitting in the locker room and celebrating winning the conference title though that is not the only title they have their eyes on. The Sinister Six smiling from ear to ear as they look up and see the NBA draft special as the analyst on the show mention how Zion Williamson from Duke and that across ticks off The Sinister Six as Willis Grayson is the first one to say something.

WILLIS GRAYSON: What is this? We already wiped the floor with Zion and his team. How do they think he will go in the draft before any of us?

    WOLF LEMON JR:
I don’t know dude, who cares...

    WILLIS GRAYSON: I do bro.

Happy gets up and looks puzzled.

    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS:
Man, We aren’t in the top two with these projections.

JON LESNOW: Man, once we run through this tournament and get the national title, those two, Zion and Mortant won’t be ahead of us.

WILLIS GRAYSON: Man, fuck, Zion. I hope we face them in the tourney.

    WOLF LEMON JR:
Man, that will have to happen in the national finals due to the brackets.

WILLIS GRAYSON: And we are going to beat their ass... again. Fuck. This just messed up my mood.

The Locker room is buzzing over the “NBA Draft Projection” Tad and Joey Dexxon remain silent in the corner as their names arent’ really mention high on the draft board like the rest of Sinister Six and Willis notices.

WILLIS GRAYSON: Man, why re you guys so quiet. You guys see this shit?

JOEY DEXXON: Yeah, and? We all going to the league, right, so why sweat this for no reason.

Tad goes to speak but he is cut off by Grayson

WILLIS GRAYSON: Boy, better not say a word, you’re ass ain’t getting drafted.

    TAD GROSICKI:
    Excuse me?

Willis Grayson busts out in laughter

WILLIS GRAYSON: Just messing with you man.

    Jon LeSnow shakes his head.

TAD GROSICKI: We need to get serious, we have a huge tournament coming up and our first lost will be our last.

    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS:
He is just messing with you guy Tad, but we are all locked in for the NCAA Tournament.

WILLIS GRAYSON: Of course we are. But fuck Zion. Any team that drafts him before ME! Massive.... HUGE! Mistake. Believe that.

    JON LESNOW:
Is that all that is on your mind, the draft?

    WILLIS GRAYSON:
Not at all. But its a huge moment that is coming up and I know I will be a great NBA player. But..

Wolf Lemon Jr cuts Willis off

    WOLF LEMON JR:
But we have a championship to win here for UCLA.

Willis Grayson gives Lemon Jr a fist bump before walking over and turning off the TV that's playing the NBA Draft Projections that are praising the projected number one overall pick in Duke’s Zion Williamson.

    2019 NBA Draft Projections!

    Key Second Round Projections.
    31. Joey Dexxon - Brooklyn Nets - UCLA
    47. Tad Grosicki - Brooklyn Nets - UCLA

Writers Notes: Next post should be a double of the NCAA Tournament/NBA Draft. From there things should speed up once we hit the league, or not. Not sure if I will be doing monthly recaps like the past project or yearly recaps to progresses further in smaller number of posts.

    The Marathon Continues

    The.Sinister.Six

    NCAA Tournament.

First Round. The UCLA Bruins entered the tournament as the odds on favorite to bring the championship back to their school's program. And the first game in the tournament the number one seed Bruins ran straight over the 16 seed North Dakota State. 90-60. With great offensive showcase from Happy and Willis as they duo dropped 20 points each and was the needed hand to route over the first round match up and move on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

    The second round
. came along as the Bruins were up against the 9th seed University of Central Florida 80-72. Now this one was more of a closer game than the last as The Bruins struggled all through out the first half hitting shots and that allowed UCF to stay in the game and keep it close. While UCF never had a lead, they kept it close to the end where Lemon Jr took over late in the end to seal the victory and send The UCLA Bruins to the Sweet Sixteen.

The sweet sixteen. has the Bruins up against the 4th seed Oregon Ducks 74-46 as The Bruins locked down the offense of The Ducks while a surprise spark of offense from Joey Dexxon with a spark of offense that lead the Bruins on the run to put Oregon down. Dexxon finished the game with 13 pts and was the 3rd highest leading scorer on the team behind LeSnow 21 and Lemon Jr 16. This was more than enough to advance to the elite eight and keep the hope alive for a NCAA Title.

    The Elite Eight.
The Bruins with a close 76-61 win as the team was trailing for most of the game against the 6th seed Iowa State Cyclones. While the final score doesn't indicate in, the Bruins went on a epic run late to pull ahead and never look back. Jon LeSnow with 21 pts and 10 asts and Wolf Lemon Jr with 18 pts and 11 rebs as the rest of the team followed suit to give the team the win and the ticket to the final four. As The Bruins almost lost control of everything due to sloppy play at the start. Now everything is set as the Bruins are launched into the 2019 Final Four.

    Semi Finals.
The Bruins had a tough match up against another number one seed in the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Another victory as The Bruins as Happy and Wolf both delivered with 22 pts each as Wolf with 11 rebs to follow as The Bruins with the 79-61 as The Bruins advance to the National Championship. The defense was just too much for The Bulldogs as they could not keep any momentum going and plus Happy was just dropping huge shots left and right and killing any chance for the team to rall up a comeback.

    National Championship.
The 2019 National Championship found its true home with the UCLA Bruins. As the Bruins took down the North Carolina Tar Heels and this game was a run away early. With 85-53 win, The Bruins made easy work of the tar heels. Wolf Lemon Jr the final four MVP chimed in with 29 pts and 11 rebs. As LeSnow followed with 15 pts and 7 asts as he dropped down key three point shots to cut any chance for the tar heels to make a comeback. The Bruins did what they set out and the Sinister Six lead the team to a national championship. Now that brings them to the NBA Draft as all six have declared. They cut down the net for victory but the future is still left to be written. Where will these six end up in the NBA?!

    The 2nd Westbrook on OKC
    WILLIS GRAYSON
    Oklahoma City Thunder

Kinda The Season Recap: What an ideal situation for Willis Grayson to be drafted to. The OKC Thunder who made major upper management movement by firing Sam Presti and bringing a new man to lead the OKC Thunder in Willy Woke. And from the jump Willy Woke promised changed and that started with the draft night as he made a huge trade with Steve Adams as he moved to the Pelicans for their first round pick which they used to get Willis as well as drafting Romeo Langford from Indiana later in the first with their own. Getting the OKC the players needed to put points on the board as both Grayson and Langford can do just that as the top scorers coming into the draft. Plus a player coming out of college compared to Westbrook, it only seem right that he mentors him as Grayson taking the two guard starting spot on the team and Langford showcasing his talents as a great spark of offense off the bench.

This team with the addition of Hassan Whiteside at the start of the season and the Thunder dumping Dennis Schoder on to the Bulls for their first round pick next and how that might lead to the Thunder getting a top lottery pick due to the Bulls not performing well. As the season progressed, Grayson impressed but Hassan Whiteside revealed with the trade deadline approaching that he was not looking to resign which without a blink Willy Woke sent him packing to Cleveland for the service of Kevin Love. While the OKC Thunder started out hot, things got complicated as they had to work K. Love into the team but once that happened, they were able to ride through the rest of the regular season and get the 3rd seed in the West in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

The first round of the playoffs, the Thunder were able to rid and knock off the defending champions the Portland Trailblazers in 5 games. Getting their revenge from last year where Portland knocked them off after a Damien Lillard 3pt buzzer beater. This was a different Thunder squad now with Willis Grayson and Romeo Langford as well as Mr. Kevin Love himself and the team was able to roll through and past the Trailblazers and sending Lillard and CJ McCollum home packing.

Which brought the OKC Thunder to the first doorstep of The Golden State Warriors. And game 1 the Warriors had no Durant but they were able to still beat the Thunder and beat them in game 2 in the return of KD. But from there Thunder won four straight to win the series and shock the GSW. in game six Willis Grayson closing the deal with 31pts to send The Warriors packing and avoiding a game 7 back at The Warriors home court.

The Western Conference finals is where The Thunders run came to an end in six games as the Denver Nuggets knocked The Thunder. With game six in Nuggets at home as Jamal Murray hitting the clinching shot to send OKC Thunder home as they ended their season. Jokic was just too much for the Nuggets. As The Nuggets winning their first ever Western Conference Championship but the Nuggets came up short against The Boston Celtics in 7 games as well as a triple OT Game 7 where Kyrie lead the Davis-less Celtics with 63 pts to the victory. WHAT. A .GAME!

To Live and Die in LA
    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS
    Los Angeles Lakers

Kinda the Season Recap: A lot was kinda suppose to happen for the LA Lakers this season. But nothing really did. One being that Luke Walton still finds himself as the coach of the club. As well nothing happened with the Anthony Davis as he was traded to the Celtics on draft not, but the Lakers did find themselves with the shocking 2nd overall draft pick in the NBA draft. With that drafting Happy Diamantopolous as well with finding a way to land Jarrett Culver from Texas Tech later in the draft. The Lakers entered the season with a hope for a great season but it actually just was a season of them treading water. Mostly the issues came with who was starting as most of the season it was a constant change between how as coming off the bench as the 6th man between Happy and Kuzma.

The Lakers spent most of the season on the bottom half of the western conference. But this wasn't the only part of the season for Lakers that left the league scratching their heads as they pulled off a trade with the Timberwolves for Gorgui Deng and once again the Lakers finds a Deng contract on their books that doesn't help them make any moves in Free Agency. Which Antony Davis made it clear that he will be entering the free agency pool in the off-season and this trade really did mess things up for them as a whole. This trade really did shoot themselves in the foot. Entering the off season with 22 mil in cap space can that be enough bring in the service of Anthony Davis who also suffered a season ending injury on the final game of the NBA season, so there is that.

With all that the Lakers held the 8th seed in the west till the final game of the regular season and failing to pick up a win on the last game of the year, they were able to lose their spot to the Utah Jazz who took the spot and slid into the 2020 NBA Playoff. Changes are expected, maybe at coaching, but The Lakers do need to work out the issues with the lineups going forward into the next season, like who is starting Kyle Kuzma or Happy?

The New Man In The Land
    WOLF LEMON JR
    Cleveland Cavaliers

Kinda the Season Recap: Being the man in Cleveland, Lemon Jr, has big shoes to fill as the comparison to LeBron are there. A man his size with the ability to pass the ball, and he did not disappoint. Almost averaging a triple double for the season. Giving the city of Cleveland a new found hope with the post LeBron rebuild as the team was able to make massive clearing of cap space when the sent Kevin Love to the Thunder for Hassan Whiteside which gets Love off their books and Hassan Whiteside contract expiring can land The Cavs a big free agent that can play along side Wolf Lemon Jr. As the season goes, the Cavs were able to thrive in the eastern conference and kinda of a surprise for the season. With Collin Sexton along his side, and adding Whiteside, the Cavs were able to make the playoffs making them the first LeBron-less Cavs team to make the playoffs in more than twenty years.

But after all that Lemon Jr with the ultimate bad luck falls down in game one with a high ankle sprain. And missed the entire first round as the Cavs got swept by the 76ers and while it seemed heartbreaking, the future does look bright for the Cavs and thats a lot to say for a team that is in mourning the departure of the best player in the world... for a second time. Maybe the team can get Whiteside back in the off-season or maybe another big signing... maybe Anthony Davis? Man This Davis guy needs to find a fucking team and stick to it.

    An Injured Bull Running
    JON LESNOW
    Chicago Bulls

Kinda The Season Recap: With the hype surrounding Jon LeSnow to the Bulls quickly fell as early in his rookie season LeSnow fell with a broken leg and missed majority of his rookie season and the Bulls suffered through it which was also a tad bit sad as the Bulls don't have their upcoming first picks sending to the OKC Thunder. Dennis Schroder didn't really pan out and proved to be a horrible trade for the team as they could really use the high pick that mostly likely to be a top 5.

Though the season wasn't all lost as LeSnow returned and showcased his offense talents. Behind Zion Williamson in scoring for the rookies with 21 ppg. The ceiling is high for LeSnow and maybe if he can stay injury free in his sophomore season he can be the catalyst to bring the Chicago Bulls back to glory. LeSnow and Levine haven't really got a chance to gel this season due to injuries but next year maybe the two on the same court together can do something special. The Bulls have special player in LeSnow, and a piece to build around, they just need to be making smarter decisions

    29-53
    13th seed Eastern Conference

    Not The Brooklyn Finest
    JOEY DEXXON
    Brooklyn Nets

Kinda The Season Recap: Dexxon with rather pretty mediocre rookie year as the Nets pretty much didn't do much capitalize on the success of last season which all pretty much started with the draft pick of Duke star RJ Barrett and the headache that was for the Brooklyn Nets team all season long. The word of Barrett falling in the draft as he was projected as a top ten pick but after a bad showing the NCAA tournament.

RJ camp started to dictate or try to dictate where he will land in the NBA and that started to rub teams the wrong way which had be the season why he fell so low in the draft till the Brooklyn Nets took him in the hopes of him wanting to be there which turned out wasn't the case. Barrett sat out the entire season and now the Nets have made it known that they do plan on moving him this off season as the two groups can't not seem to come together as a way to get Barrett on a court to play for the Brooklyn Nets.

Where Brooklyn goes in the off season after all this drama all season long, nobodies knows. They do have solid back up p[point guard in Dexxon and he proved that he does belong in the league and maybe the Brooklyn gets can make the moves needed to get them back into the playoff season next year. But first they have to figure out the RJ Barrett problem as this is just a circus right now

    TAD GROSICKI
    N/A?

Kinda The Season Recap: Tad Grosicki went the whole season not picked up and now looks to be taking his talents over sea's in a hope to find himself in the league. No one knows where his basketball career will end up. Maybe can he make it to the league, maybe the G league or will he find his place overseas with a Euro league or something to that sort. Maybe he wasn't ready for the league and now remains un drafted and not on the radar of any NBA teams of as now.
    Sophomore year! Next UP!

    Rise Of The City/Injury BUG?
    WILLIS GRAYSON
    Oklahoma City Thunder

Kinda The Season Recap: Year 2 and coming fresh off the Western Conference finals appearance. The Thunder went to the 2021 season with major hype. But in off-season The Thunder and Billy Donovan parted ways once as The Thunder from there set their eyes on Mike D'Antoni for thie head coaching job after his break up from The Houston Rockets with the Rockets firing him for the service of Tyronn Lue. The Thunder went into the season with the eyes on the prize and that is a NBA Championship as in the off-season they signed the talents of Eric Gordon to boost the bench.

As well The Thunder found themselves with the overall number one pick thanks to the trade made with the Bulls last year. With the pick The Thunder selected the top center in the pool in Duke's Vernon Carey Jr. The OKC Thunder looked super and they started the season just like that. With the D'Antoni offense system the Thunder looked might impressive as they breezed through the start of the season. D'Antoni with the tweaks made to his coaching style to match OKC Roster not loaded with that many shooters to rely heavy on the 3pt shot.

Though they did run into a few hiccups as Willis Grayson and Westbrook proved that maybe the two of them on the court together wasn't the best idea as Romeo Langford played most of the crunch time minutes in the end of games to help balance things out as Willis and Russell both played too similar and it showed on the court. Westbrook signed a two year extension during the season and that might be a sign where the franchise might going in the future if Grayson and Westbrook don't really work out together. You could just sense something brewing between the two but nothing came to light at all during the season between the two despite the amount of reports on the issue. The Thunder with a team effort from everyone found themselves with the best record in the league and the number one seed in the West to start the playoffs.

With the first round against The Dallas Mavericks. A Mavs team that was without Luka Doncic and the Thunder were able to sweep The Mavs in 4 straight games. With game 2 having Willis Grayson go off for 42 pts as he lead the way for the game 2 victory but in the first quarter of game 3, Grayson falls down with a severe high ankle sprain that put him out for the rest of the 2021 NBA Playoffs.

A huge blow to the Thunder club but they trooped on to finish the sweep of The Mavs and move on to the next round as they took on the Houston Rockets and this series without Grayson was a challenge but the Thunder with the power of Westbrook, George and Langford stepping up to finish the Rockets of in six games which was tad bit sweet for Coach as he was able to get revenge on the Rockets team who decided to part ways with the 2021 coach of the year.

The Thunder now found themselves back to the Western conference finals as they take on the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors without a real defensive presences as Draymond Green the Thunder with the efforts of Kevin Love was the huge driving force to bouncing the Warriors out of the playoffs in just 5 games, something that Mike D'Antoni was never able to do with the Houston Rockets. Without Green, Kevin Love was a great presence on the court and dominated as he with the help of Westbrook and even Romeo Langford they were able to defeat The Warriors as they squeezed a two pt win in game 5 at Home to send Golden State Warriors packing for the second straight year as Durant missed a game tying through that allowed a outlet fast break pass to Vernon Jr for the jam that put the nail in the coffin and end The Warriors season.

The NBA Finals found The Thunder up against The 76ers and with Grayson watching from the sideline for the entire ordeal watched The OKC Thunder win the NBA Championship without him as Russel Westbrook took home 2021 Finals MVP while the man who stepped up in his spot in the starting line up Romeo Langford had one hell of series and played a huge factor in the Thunder defeating the 76ers in 7 games after falling down to the 76ers 3 games to 2. Winning the championship at home in game 7 after amazing efforts from Kevin Love and Paul George through out the series to win the championship.

Heading to the next season, what is next for the story?

No Hope In LA LA Land?
    HAPPY DIAMANTOPOLOUS
    Los Angeles Lakers

Kinda the Season Recap: The question is, what is going on with the Lakers. In the off season, The Lakers made a deal for RJ Barrett by sending Jarrett Culver to the Nets for the disgruntled RJ Barrett as a way to spark a breath of fresh air into the team and well.... NOPE! That did not happen as the team finished the season 32-50 and nothing clicked for the Lake show all season long. LeBron look frustrated as well as the rest of the team as we all question if LeBron is just here in LA for the perks that Hollywood gives for James post NBA goals.

While LeBron denies the claims, the Lakers failures on the court surely doesn't help his claim. Also Luke Walton still the head coach might not be the one to get this team of somewhat misfit parts to gel and make a successful season.

Finally this off season might be the end of that as well as a massive trade to send the likes of Ball, Ingram and Kuzma for a super star to bring to the Lakers as the team is still high on Happy Diamantopolous and he improved in the second season but still remains the only member of the Sinister Six that has entered the league not to make the playoffs.

Not being able to get Anthony Davis as trading for Gorgui Dieng last season which was a pretty big and dumb contract hindered the team as Davis went to The Hawks and took that team to the Eastern Conference finals.

Nobody expects Walton to be the coach next year and a huge trade to add another star to this mess is expected. But who? Rumors here of a disgruntled Leonard in Toronto but that might be a false report or Karl Anthony Towns as well. Expect this team to not look like anything it was this season as this was suppose to be the year where the Lakers were great and well, this was not that case at all.

    BIG CHANGE SHOULD BE COMING!

    The Wolf In The Land!
    WOLF LEMON JR
    Cleveland Cavaliers

Kinda the Season Recap: Making the All Star. Huge for Wolf Lemon Jr as he was the driving force for the Cavs team that lead them to the playoffs. Even as the 8th seed, to show how bright the future is with the likes of Lemon Jr and Sexton on the team and just a young nucleus as first time NBA coach Larry Drew and the team is coming together very well as of the last two seasons.

Wolf Jr making his case for being the best player out of the Sinister 6 while being drafted behind Happy. The team will have 26 mil in the off season, who can they bring in to team up with Lemon Jr in Cleveland. While they were knocked out in the first round by 76ers, as Simmons, Embid and cast were just too much for a team like The Cavaliers. While The Cavs did steal game one on the road in shock behind the 24 pts 8 rebs and 9 asts from Lemon Jr and a triple double from Dejounte Murray, the rest of series was four in a row for the 76ers as they proved to be the superior team.

Lemon Jr is improving as he, Sexton and Jordan Clarkson look to be a reason to give The Land reasons to cheer moving forward, just hope the Cavs find a way to fuck this up, because at the end of the day, this is The Cavaliers. They have a superstar in the making in their hands and he is proving it. He just needs to find a jump shot.

Can the team find more success next year?

For The Hope Of The Land. They do.

Kinda The Season Recap: This was shocking season for sure for the Bulls as LeSnow was able to lead the team to 3rd season in the Eastern Conference as well as a All Star selection. A scoring machine for The Bulls as this season was sure surprise after trading their draft pick for Dennis Schroder that turned out to be the number one overall pick which went to the OKC Thunder.

With that resting on the organizations mind going into the season but they were still behind the offensive fire power of LeSnow to not only make the playoffs but find themselves in the top 3 in the conference. As Jon LeSnow and Lauri Markkanen were a great one two punch to show great promises in the league as a duo. The team also had to deal with the injury to Zach Levine as he went down with season ending injury with a fractured right arm late in March.

The Bulls found themselves in the playoffs but up against The Boston Celtics who dealt with a season without Anthony Davis a she left the team in the off season to sign with The Hawks. So the Celtics found themselves as the 6th seed in the Eats and in the first round against the Bulls and whole the league was excited for the showdown between LeSnow and Iriving, The Celtics looked to be far too playoff experience and end the Bulls season in a four game sweep.

The Bulls sure do have promise heading into the next season as LeSnow looks to resume to setting the league on fire with his scoring and maybe with a healthy Zach LeVine, things can be different for the Bulls.

The Future looks bright. for Year 3!

    Brooklyn In The House
    JOEY DEXXON
    Brooklyn Nets

Kinda The Season Recap: This season with the trade of RJ Barrett who was a headache and half last season about not wanting to play in Brooklyn and in the off season he was traded to the LA Lakers for Jarrett Culver. With that trade was a huge piece needed or the Nets as they were able to team him up with D'Angelo Russell and success followed as they were able to make the playoff as the 5th seed. As through out the season Joe Dexxon proved himself to be a solid back up point guard for the Nets and give in sparks off the bench as he was reliable through out the season leading to NBA Playoffs.

In The Playoffs, The Nets ran into the 4th seed New York Knicks with a battle of the boroughs. Zion Williamson was able to power the Knicks through a grueling 7 games series as the Brooklyn nets put up a fight to try and advance to the next round but the superstar that is Zion Williamson was just too much for them to handle and their season came to an end.

After a long hard season The Brooklyn Nets look to next year with the hopes of growing their young talents to a team that maybe can advance further in the playoffs next year.

Can Brooklyn keep the progress going and be a championship contender?

    TAD GROSICKI
    N/A?

Kinda The Season Recap: Once again another season just like the last Tad Grosicki remains out the league as he is trying to find himself over seas and hopefully find a way into the NBA top join the rest of Sinister 6 family. As of now the that dream looks bleak at best and maybe he won't ever put on a NBA jersey but as he plays overseas, he is not giving up on that hope.

Is this the end of the road for the NBA dream of Tad Grosicki of the Sinister 6?
