Also Food Network and Opie Podcast Star Chef Carl the Cuban Ruiz passed away from a heart attack he was 44. This one sucks cuz he was so young and so damn funny. His Twitter was a great one.

Sid Haig has been in so much stuff, it's almost weird when you don't see him appear in a movie. It's amazing that his career can be traced all the way back to stuff like Batman '66, Star Trek and Diamonds Are Forever. He'll be sorely missed but he will definitely live on through all the wonderful roles he played over the years. RIP.

Carl Ruiz passing away really sucks. I loved that dude. He was always so entertaining on the Food Network shows I watched him on and, like Booty said, his Twitter was dynamite. RIP.

I heard Sid was ill recently, I didn't realize he was 80. Still very sad.

Can't believe Carl Ruiz passed away, that's terrible.

Baker always looked so rough that I'm surprised he made it to 80. Love Cream and his drumming always blew me away and was part of the reason I still wanted to learn drums despite playing guitar.

    Well fuck

Robert Forster passed away today at the age of 78. I finally got around to watching Jackie Brown a few months ago and he was fucking incredible in it. I also enjoyed him in Breaking Bad and El Camino which also happened to release today.

This has upset me a bit more than most deaths would for some reason. I generally have little to no reaction to a celebrity death. Jackie Brown is one of my favourite films ever, Breaking Bad my favourite TV show. And although he had a minor role in the show, he was great in it. Seeing him in El Camino yesterday is probably why it's hit me a little more. Sad news.

Late to the news on this one, found out from a YouTube video of him talking about bumping into Tarantino in a diner and that setting things in motion for him to be in Jackie Brown. Still think he had one of the best performances out of all QT's movies. Wonderfully understated and sympathetic.

John Witherspoon, best known for his roles in the Friday movies, The Wayans Brothers Show, and the voice grandad on The Boondocks has passed away.

I loved him in the Friday movies. He was great on The Boondocks too

That’s devastating. He stole the show in pretty much anything I saw him in.

    Re: 2019 Celebrity Memorial Thread

Iconic Survivor contestant Rudy Boesch passed away today. Normally I wouldn't expect to get much of a reaction from people on this one but he was on the first, highly watched, season and was well known for going deep into the game and for his groundbreaking friendship with eventual winner Richard Hatch.

Rudy was by all accounts a good man and his story on television in two Survivor appearances reflected that. He will be missed.

Former Michigan State standout and Detroit Lions WR, Charles Rogers died at 38. A great college player, but a washout in the NFL. Sad, he had all the skills.

Up-and-coming platinum rapper Juice WRLD has passed at 21 from a seizure. Never like to see 'em go that young.

Fuck. RIP Juice WRLD. He came off like a pretty good guy and although I never got into him much, he did have talent. He'll be missed.
