Thats not what implying at all. I have issue with the assumption that they are somehow standing up by not going.

They could easily speak out about it.

I just against this wow look at them standing up against the big ole bad Saudi Arabia opinion when Saudi Arabia and the US are happy go lucky friends

I'm not entirely sure how Cena/Bryan not wrestling = okay with bombing, but sure, whatever floats your boat.

Kind of a weird false equivalency but go off I guess.

I think the point he is trying to make is that why did it take the Khashoggi incident to cause them to not wrestle in Saudi Arabia when the country already has previous controversy about it. In other words, why was that the incident the straw that broke the camels back rather than the Yemeni stuff?

    etc. etc.

Of course, the Yemeni stuff doesn't get highlighted in worldwide media all that often so idk.

I just find it strange you think they are standing up to something over this when their own country sell their government weapons. And yet nothing about that.

Don't quote me on this but I read somewhere the other day that Bryan had made the decision not to attend before the murder. His reasons for not going included Sami Zayn not being allowed to appear at Greatest Royal Rumble and the Saudi's mistreatment of homosexuals.

I can't speak for Cena but my guess is he just didn't want to damage his brand. Can't really blame him for that even if it's a relatively selfish motivation.

I recently read Cena isnt going due to his ties to.hollywood which equals his brand. So its more about his bottom line than anything against Saudi Arabia.

I cant fault Bryan for doing it for Sami. Thats stand up for sure.

But its not like they are doing it for political reasons as far as being the guys who refuse to work in Saudi Arabia because their corrupt government may have murdered a reporter

Yeah, that's true on both accounts.

Bryan was pretty much on that mindset, but I think the latest stuff was the straw that broke the camel's back and really made him just flat out want to avoid it entirely.

He said he was admittedly not aware of all the human rights issues, particularly the stance on homosexuality. And it seems alluded that he had talked about it with Sammi quite a bit after he performed at GRR.

Cena was reportedly advised not to, believed by an agent or PR guy of his. He felt it was overall a bad image for him to go, as well, I guess.

I doubt either of them do, honestly.

Especially Brady, who isn't even allowed to talk politics anymore, since Giselle scolds him.
