Odbj is overrated and yes Gordon on the field

I don't think Gordon can even be rated at this point in his career
He has never played long enough at one time or another with out getting suspended to have a definitive opinion on him one way or the other

Not sure what Gordon on the firl means?

Also, overrated is a subjective term and can hardly be used as an argument. I’d rather you just called him a cunt like Grim did if that’s the route we’re going to take.

It was a typo all I am saying is I think hes over hyped and overrated. I dont like him but I am not gonna call him or anyone that. Im not being biased or anything either towards any player. I mean I hate the pats but Brady is a good player so is Gronk.

I hate the steelers above all teams and thats with a passion and I can still say they got good players on that team

OBJ is the second coming of Braylon Edwards, minus the dropping of passes. Extremely talented, has all the potential in the world, but is an awful teammate and not afraid to shift the blame onto others when he's not doing well.

Maybe I prefer slightly less talented players who are just sweethearts both on and off the field, I guess.

Personally I think ODBJ is one of the best and explosive Players to ever play the game and this coming from a Eagles fan here. I would say though he's quite immature, and I can't even say well I was acting like that at his age, but that would be a lie because my Mother always told us kids you represent you Dad, and I out there don't act like a fool out there. Gordon I hope the guy with a new home now gets it together because if he does it will be one of best stories in sports, and something he can do give advice to the youth coming up.

Commendable to be sure and it would obviously be wonderful if every great player was also a great human being. Unfortunately that’s not the case and I’d gladly take a twat like Gronk on my team if he could help me win.

As a Giants fan I’ve heard zero about him being a bad teammate. Just hate because he’s polarizing. Everyone one of you would take him on your team if you could

I rank him at around 10. Last night was a good example of why.

Slight dig at his teammates, methinks?

And, fuck no. I have Thielen and Diggs. Two equally talented Wide Receivers who come from more humble beginnings and are far more personable. Bite me on this one, Booty.

Ok you have a good pair so I’ll give you that but no need to get hostile it’s only football. Also most of the team does suck. O-Line sucks Eli Sucks. Not sure how last night was his fault he can only catch what’s thrown his way.

This. Anyone will make excuses for bad character guys on their teams. That's actually my rule on this sort of thing. "Would it bug me if he was a Packer?"

OBJ? Nah. He's a smack-talker but I'm not one of those people who pretends to be offended by cocky guys having fun playing football. I like him, I like Ochocinco, I like T.O., I like Gronk, and Jalen Ramsey, and Richard Sherman and all those dudes. Would have been happy to have any of them on my team.

There's a lot of NFL players with ACTUALLY problematic backgrounds that are way more worth the effort of getting mad about than those guys. Gordon is trending towards one of them, as a goof-off addict who doesn't seem to take his job seriously. Say what you will about all of the above players but they give their all to the game and that's what I'd expect out of a superstar athlete I've given a lot of chances too.

Like Booty already alluded to, last night wasn't on OBJ.

The Cowboys were doing a great job getting pressure to Eli through that pitiful offensive line, and it was absolutely shaking Eli up. He was sacked what, 4 times? And most of the time when the pressure did come in he couldn't throw the ball accurately.

And when he did have time, he just went straight to the check down. 14 receptions for Saquan Barkley last night, all short little check downs.

Beckham had no chance to make a play because Eli couldn't get him the ball.

Beckham does sadly fall out of the top 5 discussion, but only because that broken injury kept him out all last year and now he's lost some relevance. He'll gain it back though this season I imagine. Barkley is already clearly making an impact on offense. If they can figure out their Eli and O Line woes they could be scary.

Sully, tell me about Tomlin the disciplinarian again...

Antonio Brown has no reported to practice since sideline blowup with Offensive Coordinator.

Also, I contend that SNF was a perfect microcosm of why I dont rate Odell. Yeah, things werent going well. The O-Line was giving Manning and Saquan nothing to work with. I et that. I also get that Odell was in one on one coverage most of the night and running at half speed in the second half. An elite WR in a game like that can take over the game in man coverage with short routes and slants. Odell needed to step up but instead he gave up.
