The hungry Revival have been on an absolute mission to lay waste to the unlikely Raw Tag Team Champions The B-Team and The Deleters of Worlds in pursuit of Team Red’s tandem titles. Nevertheless, while they definitely looked impressive in a Triple Threat Match against both teams this past Monday on Raw, the contest ended with Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas pulling out another astonishing title defense and extending perhaps the most bewildering underdog story in recent WWE history.

Now, Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson will refocus their efforts when they get a traditional title opportunity against The B-Team this Sunday at SummerSlam. Will fortune finally run out for WWE’s luckiest combination? Or will The B-Team score another improbable W? Plus, will former titleholders Bray Wyatt & Matt Hardy play a role in this explosive affair?

Find out during the SummerSlam Kickoff, streaming live this Sunday at 5 ET/2 PT on the award-winning WWE Network, as well as WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.

Long-time NXT Champion and a long-time IC Champion/former tag champ win the Raw Tag Titles in a weak division = bewildering underdog story?

    WWE's selective memory is real.

Tbf in recent form, neither were exactly feared opponents before this push started. Both their singles titles runs were a good 4/5 years ago now, hardly a reflection of their current selves.

Axel I can kinda see where you're coming from because he's had main roster title wins before both as a tag and singles before being reduced to a pure jobber, but Bo has been presented as a complete joke ever since getting called up. When you consider that his NXT title reign was pre-WWE Network so only the hardcore fans who would search illegal streams to watch the show would of ever seen his run as champion, to most people Bo has always been a jobber.

They are an upgrade on the immobile Hardy and Bray Wyatt, but that's not saying much. Would prefer the Revival to win.

I stand by the fact it's not bewildering in the least. Both of their dads are Hall of Famers too.

Re: WWE Summerslam 2018 - Raw Tag Team Champions The B-Team vs The Revival

Summerslam would be the perfect time for The Revival to finally get the gold. Begging for this to happen, it would make the tag division so much better.

Even with a weak division, they can slow build a few teams whilst The Revival entertainingly shit all over the terrible ones for a couple of months.

Not the biggest fan of how this has come about, I always envisioned Revival's main roster run to be a little better than this, although they were being booked strongly until injury hit. With that being said, the final footnote being that The Revival win their first set of main roster tag titles at Summerslam sounds pretty damn good to me.

Also, got to go against you on this one, EC. If you haven't won shit in forever, chances you are seen as an underdog. I'd use Goldust as an example. In last 95/early 96 his mind games had everybody twisted so he was an IC Champ and considered rather dangerous, yet if he beat Ziggler now and became the champ, huge upset. The comparison may be a little extreme by using Goldust as an example, but I think the argument still stands.

The revival should win but the b team have done well making themselves in to actual half decent inring performers, but it's a 50/50 , it's just been added at the last minute as who really cares bout this match, let's be honest
