It seems that since the payroll and luxury tall bill being so high, OKC is heading towards parting ways to with Carmelo. If they get it done they'll save 100 Million and I expect a Trade, because they aren't doing a Buyout of course so what if he gets his way to LA somehow in a Trade? It their really a market for Carmelo these days?

BRUH Tony Parker to the Charlotte Hornets as well. End of an era only now Manu as the last guy of that great era of Spurs Basketball left now.

Unfortunately there is a slight market for Melo still. And they can buy him out with a stretch provision I believe, which allows OKC to pay him off over a longer period. I think. The worst part is Houston would be one of the teams interested and I just don't want any part of Melo at this point in his career. He was dreadful last year and I think it's completely fair to call him a locker room cancer. If the biggest thing Houston does this offseason is acquire Melo, then this offseason has been a complete failure.

And the Parker news is wild. I didn't even realize he was a free agent. Makes sense I guess, if he's gonna leave the Spurs, to go to Charlotte to play with his French national team teammate Nic Batum.

With Kawhi The Queen likely gone, Tim Duncan retired, and Parker now a Hornet, ol' Ginobli is all that's left for Pops all star lineup.

Honestly, I don't get why he wouldn't just finish his last few seasons with the Spurs. Won't be surprised of Ginobli ends up leaving in the end, too.

Though we all know at least one player who will stick with his team.

I know it's Summer league, but 40 and this guy was hitting shots back from the Three Point Line like Steph Curry. I think the Sixers have a gem of a player here put JJ and Korkmaz and stretch them out could be very dangerous and we need shooters which we lost in FA.

This is a pretty tidy pick up.

I think most people had higher expectations for the Bucks last season than what they played up to. Hopefully they can do this season what they were supposed to do last season.

That price for Lopez is a bargain. Plus Henson is a great compliment to do the dirty work while Lopez scores a lot.

Lopez was at the top of my wishlist for this off-season. Stoked about this.

I might be in the minority but I like Jabari going to the Bulls. He's a Chicago native and extremely talented if he can ever get in right shape and avoid injuries. Him becoming a cornerstone for that team would be great to see. As a Bulls fan, I would probably be a bit iffy about that contract, but since it's not my team I'm not really worried about their finances.

Re: 2018 NBA Offseason Discussion Thread

I like the move a lot for a team like the Bulls. If some "win-now" team was shelling out 40 mil for Jabari I'd say it's dumb but the Bulls are gonna be happy just pushing for a bottom four seed in the East so they might as well take a flyer on a guy like Bari, even if the cost is a little high, because what else are they gonna do with that money? It's a team option for a second year so if his knees give out they make a short investment even shorter, and if he balls out and looks like the Bari that was drafted number two, then the Bulls will have the inside track to keeping him around (he loves Chicago), and have a piece to build around.

Low risk, decent reward move. I'll miss him in Milwaukee but this is the best move for the Bucks, the Bulls, and for Jabari. Godspeed brother.

This NBA off-season really has been a true silly season.
