The Lakers are one of my favorite teams though so I'm hoping he goes there.
I'm thinking that is where he is going to end up. Out in LA that is.

If he wants to win another ring I don't believe LA is the place to do it unless they can work out a way to get Kawhi or PG as well.

The rumor mill is circulating that there is interest in the LA Lakers. Who do you feel would be a better fit for him to get a ring? I mean he won one at Cleveland pretty much by himself, so he wouldn't need that many all stars to help out. Would love to see him in Atlanta.

Philly, Boston and Houston are the only teams giving Golden Statw a run for their money with LeBron as constructed I believe.

    Draft's tomorrow.

The Suns getting #1 had to be rigged. Ayton played for the Wildcats in college, they hired Doncic, & Bagley's from Arizona.

From everything I've seen Doncic is the best player by far of these guys. Hope he drops to Memphis at 4, if not I'd rather trade #4 & that clown Chandler Parsons to some sad team that's desperate enough to take on his contract. But outside of that I don't see any A+ difference makers in this draft.

Rumor has it the Knicks might just be willing to take the #4 pick and that scrub Parsons off the Grizzlies' hands. But it's said that they (NY) may be targetting Mo Bamba with that pick, which I don't like. I love Bamba but I just don't think NY is the right place for him to thrive. For what it's worth, these are my top 5 prospects this year, based on a pretty limited knowledge...

    1. Luka Doncic
    2. Deandre Ayton
    3. Marvin Bagley
    4. Michael Porter Jr.
    5. Trae Young/Mo Bamba/Jaren Jackson Jr.

If the Knicks find themselves at the fourth pick. Michael Porter Jr is where they should go instead of Bamba. They need someone who can run with porzingis and complement him.

You see Bamba's combine stats though? Man can run with anyone, I don't think that will be an issue for him at all.

Yeah I'm pretty hype for the Draft tomorrow. 2 First Round Picks and Four in the Second Round I don't see them making all those picks tomorrow night at all. I wouldn't be shocked to see trades of course with my Sixers especially and wanna see some of my Nova favs like Bridges, and DiVincenzo to see where they land. I've seen Bridges could be a landing spot at 10, Trae as well if he falls down enough and I doubt that happens if so Fultz is gone. I would love it if the Sixers take DiVincenzo with their Second First Round Pick, dude could be one hell of player and a true energy guy to come off the bench if need be.

Re: 2018 NBA Offseason Discussion Thread

Is Phil Jackson back with the Knicks? He's about the only one I would expect to take that crackhead Parsons.

This whole draft is filled with too many "boom or bust" type of players IMO. Doncic's the only one that's put it all together and he's one of the youngest.

Ayton: Great athleticism but his defense is awful and even on offense he's hot & cold. It won't be as easy for him to dominate in the NBA. Bigger concern to me is how whenever it seemed like it was a big game he disappeared.

Young: Almost same as Ayton in terms of the offense/defense but at least his game is predicated on skill more than athletic ability.

Porter: Great player but what's this about a back injury? You just never know.

Bamba: Reverse Ayton. Athletic ability off the charts but his offense needs a lot of work.

Bagley, Jackson, Knox, & so on: Upside is big but super raw even by college standards.

Sexton from Alabama is my dark horse pick to be this year's D. Mitchell. Complete player with tons of heart.

Love Colin Sexton and would take him over Trae Young probably, given the chance. I just think he's a less sketchy choice while Trae has a higher potential, he also has a lower floor I feel.

Anyone who leads a team literally 3 on 5 to almost winning is someone I want on my team. And he's fun to watch to, dunk champion, with better defense than Young.

Where do you all think Grayson Allen will go? Lottery talent with a 2 cent brain and attitude. I think someone probably loves him & will take him higher than a lot of mocks have him, probably top 20 pick.

Doncic gets drafted by the Hawks and he could be going to Dallas which to me they are trying to get some pieces together because they know Dirk is retiring soon, and I imagine they want to start up the farm system again to go on a roll and compete again in the West in the next few years.

Sorry Peepshow Bamba to the Magic, the Bulls nearly got him.

When I hear a player doesn't have a Post Game, he better get one or he'll be bullied by the other bigs in the NBA in my opinion.

Not into Jackson at all for Memphis. We have a ton of young bigs already and he isn't a game changer at all. I might have just went with Porter and rolled the dice on the injury. Jackson has no upside.

The Hawks made an extremely dumb move.

Oh no. I hate that Bamba ended up on the Magic. Don't think playing for that franchise bodes well for his future.
